I've been with Dr. Lalik since he opened his Barrie family medicine practice; at first he seemed a little inexperienced (naturally) but time and wisdom has made him an excellent family physician. He takes the time to listen, and when I raise concerns, he takes them seriously and has me go for even more tests than I probably need, or immediately provides me with a referral to a specialist for a deeper look at the issue.

Unfortunately, his original front office administrative assistants seemed very unwelcoming, almost to the point of hostility. For example, the lengthy voice recording you would have to listen through every time you called made you feel as if you had done something wrong and were just going to bother them and not follow their instructions — that assistant came across as very bitter and jaded. (This has since improved, however, as I'm sure he got a lot of feedback about that over the early years.)

I have no serious complaints, feel I've received the attentive and knowledgeable care I have needed, and wouldn't ever consider changing doctors.

If it was possible we would give zero stars . Self righteous Catholic who thinks he is better than anyone else . Rude front desk , rude nurses .
Dr Lalik lives more than 1/2 year in Poland flying in and out just to collect money with zero regard for his patients.
This is not what a family doctor, good person or good catholic should be like .

Reception is horrible - make you feel like an inconvenience for calling and try to pick fights with you over everything, raise their voice at you and call you names which is ridiculous professional etiquette especially for a medical office.

I sent a sample to the lab and results were to go to him. When I asked to find out what the infection was, his response was "What does that matter to you?" I was knocked out of my chair by his rudeness. And to top it all off, he was supposed to send a prescription to my pharmacist but it's still not there and his office is closed.

Horrible horrible human being. Cares more about his paycheque than the health or recovery of his patients. He must get paid more at the walkin clinic from what i see here. He sure af doesn't gaf about his patients out of his office!

I do not know what has happened at Chris's office - found him to be very supportive when I first start going to him - within the last few months found him and Dr. Quinn to dismissive, condescending - basically was called a liar when told Dr. Quinn I knew no one that had covid but knew several people who had side effects from the vaccine - she said she did not believe me that I did not know anyone that had covid - very upset that I did not have the vaccine yet - angry - did not research my history on how I have had bad reactions to a wide variety of drugs - when I told her of my reaction to the flu shot she and Chris dismissed it - no one talked to me regarding my concerns regarding reactions - the attitude was I was over reacting - like I said very dismissive- that they feel there is not a lot of reactions and I should take the chance to protect them - Dr. Quinn and I had raised voices - when I left receptionists would not acknowledge me - very disappointed on the lack of support - that I was considered uninformed - actually Dr. Quinn questioned me 3x why I have not done a coloscopy or mamogram - said I was 69 I get it - -
my body - my choice - went to have lumps checked - 3x I had to say my brother had melanoma - I am not stupid - I am very well informed and deserved to be listen to...

Been my family doc since childhood and I'll literally go anywhere else before I see him or deal with his office. Reception is rude, condisending, and just unbearable. Then he is impersonal, doesn't listen, and just gets you out of his office asap.

up to recently had found Chris to be a fairly good doctor - listened to problems - did spend a little bit too much time looking at computer than me - recently received flu shot - was advised by a pharmacy to talk to him before getting vaccine shot - had to leave 2 messages before my call was returned - he was rude, condescending, would not let me finish explaining my symptoms which I had for 3 1/2 wks - he said it was from a cold not the flu shot - so from Nov.6 to Dec.18 I had headaches, fatigue, welts, hives, itching was unbearable but it was suppose to be my body fighting off a cold - he was not helpful or correct on this matter...
