Our family has been using him for a number of year and he is very helpful. Receptionist staff is troll-like though.

front desk staff is very unwelcoming and at times rude. Dr. Wilson is friendly and has very good knowledge of general medicine. Has helped me every time

Dr. Wilson is terrific. Good Dr., listens, offers options, educates. His phone staff are the only downfall. Rather abrupt and less than helpful.

I have been with Dr. Wilson for many years, and the following is my personal opinion only. Overall, I wouldn't go to anyone else now, as he has been very effective in dealing with any health problems I have. I owe a lot of my current health-related quality of life to the tests he ordered and the resulting diagnosis, when a another doctor I tried out failed miserably to diagnose my then ailment. He talks well and doesn't treat the patient poorly. In the waiting room, you can wait two minutes or wait 30 minutes, it all depends on how busy things are. His receptionists are competent, but they don't have the absolute best personalities (to be fair, it's hard being a medical secretary since you're dealing with sick people all day long and it's not exactly fun work). His waiting room has plenty of chairs, and has never been so full you can't find a chair. Dr. Wilson's office is very clean and well organized from what I can see.

Dr. Wilson was my doctor for a number of years when I lived in Vacouver. If I hadn't moved to the island he would still be my doctor. I never sat in the wating room for hours only to sit and wait some more in his office. A refreshing change from every other GP I've had. He understood my illness, treated me appropriately and advised me wisely on one of my medications. Not only that, he has a wonderful sense of humour, I only wish he practiced on the island

Has been an outstanding doctor. Have used him for 10 years, for a variety of checks and even some minor surgeries. He is always cheerful, very knowledgable, and doesn't always just go with the "norm" prescription. We have recommended this doctor to several of our friends and have never heard a complaint from any of them. Would highly reccommend the use of Doctor Wilson.
