I am so lucky and fortunate to have found Dr. Gorman. He has done such a wonderful job of assessing me so far, understanding and listening thoroughly to everything I have shared and all of the concerns that I've had. Right from the first phone call before we even commit to sessions, he was already trying to help me with my concerns with nothing to gain (there was nothing being billed yet) except help me out. One full session later, I am grateful and excited about my mental health moving forward. Thank you Dr. Gorman and I look forward to being helped and treated by you as we move forward with further sessions.

I have been with the doctor on the brutal passing of my mother who was manipulated by the cancer monsters at Princess M. I came in with PTSD, anxiety, depression and I am an artist and rabid feminist. This man has helped me beyond compare. He is knowledgable, kind, empathic, authentic, unpretentious with great listening skills, with a great regard of all aspects for who I am: gender, politics. To the horrid person below discussing his one time fall from grace, you are an ignorant vulture, encompassed of PC entrapment. He is omnipresent in treating trauma in a way that is seamless. You must do the work. If you do not, no psychotherapy is worth it. (To the person below who is slandering Dr Gorman- I challenge you to a debate anytime)

I had been in analysis for years but my analyst died and I needed further help. I found Dr Gormann who is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and MD. I, of course, do not agree with what happened but Dr Gorman is not a repeat predator which is much differenet. This happened at the time of a sudden death of his daughter in a car accident who was a young woman. Dr. Gorman has practiced for years before this incident and after without a problem. Before you want to take another good doctor who is covered by OHIP while most are not, you may want to look at the bigger picture. Dr. Gorman is anything but a predator.

Dr. Richard Gorman treated me for severe anxiety and medium to severe depression right around the time of his troubles (see below). I submitted commentary to his legal representation at the time and I will say it again here. He is an excellent psychiatrist. He helped me deal with the unresolved grief and pain of my father's suicide dating back to 1996. I have nothing but kind words for him. Thank you Dr. Gorman. I hope you read this. P.

I've been seeing Dr. Gorman for several years now. He is kind and caring, and very helpful. I understand there were charges and discipline against him, but that has never negatively affected our therapeutic relationship. Basically I came to him when I was very low and he's helped me p a lot, and I'm grateful.
