I would never go to Dr Mincham again, for a man who has five children I found his bed side manner very poor. Every question I asked got met with "it hasn't been proven", he told me I may have breast cancer yet did no checks when I told him I had a lump. He was pro caesarean and was trying to hurry my labour up - I think if you were having your second child and wanted a caesarean then he would probably be fine but was not what I wanted. He also did not take any interest in my baby once born and the follow up appointment was over very quickly. I asked for a medical certificate to say I had a cesarean to allow my husband to get carers leave and he implied it wasn't needed as I would not require any assistance. Not recommended at all.

I just recently delivered my first baby and dr mincham was my dr. He was very good. She was a small baby and I had a few issues so he kept a very close eye on us the entire time. We had to deliver early and I can not express how smoothly it all went. A very good dr. And will defiantly go back in the future. The midwife in his office called Lisa is also great to deal with!

Dr Mincham is highly recommended. He has safely delivered 8 healthy babies in our family and taken care of us with professionalism, compassion and warmth at all times. He is an excellent, highly capable and personable doctor with a great reputation. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr Mincham delivered both my children, and was my surgeon for post-birth issues. He was always respectful, friendly, and professional. Thoroughly recommend - has a genuine care for the welfare of the baby and mother. Only let down is that the office receptionists and midwife were quite rude and sour.

David delivered both my singleton (naturally) and my twins (Caesarian). He was always very friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to answer my long list of questions and explained things thoroughly. Ran tests to rule out any of my concerns and went through all my options for both pregnancies. Highly recommend him. Only down side is I was not told til later that he does not have operating rights at KEMH so if you go into labor before 34 weeks he can not be you OB. Luckily I made it to 36 weeks with my twins.

David has delivered both my children naturally (no drugs) at SJOG Murdoch, and also been my surgeon for obstetric complications I had with two previous pregnancies. He is a friendly, laid back, professional Dr and a very talented surgeon.

Although David is professional and no doubt knows his field. I found his bedside manner very abrupt, almost rude at times. My questions were at times dismissed and made to feel silly for asking. The low point was at 37 weeks he couldn't pronounce my name as he was reading it to book me in for a scan and when I gently corrected him was shrugged off with a grunt. A joke, smile, warm reassurance of any kind at any stage would have made all the difference in the world.

I cannot recommend Dr Mincham highly enough. When it came time to deliver my baby he was more than happy to let nature take its course. I didn't want any intervention which he respected and was not pushy. His care during my antenatal period was great and he explained things well. I will be definitely see him for subsequent babies.
