I met Dr Eriksson during a very dark and difficult time in my life. I was dealing with depression and sever anxiety after a breakdown due to ill-treatment from work. I had already tried CBT with another therapist but I felt rushed and uncomfortable. Things were different with Dr Eriksson. She offered me the tools via CBT to find my way back to a better version of myself. Her ability to hone into what’s important, listen without judgement, offer compassion, refocus on the triggers, suggest homework to strengthen my mind and connect the past with the present, is remarkable. I felt safe, cared for and important in her presence. CBT works if you put the work in. I did! It’s a lot of hardwork but I knew I was worth it and I am grateful to her for helping me heal after 2.5 years of struggle. Highly recommended!!

The best therapist i ever had and i have had many therapists in my lifetime! She is very compassionate yet has clear, distinct personal boundaries for herself and for the client. She is always present and available when you are speaking. And the vest feature of her is her nonjudgmental approach which she always strives to help you find concrete solutions to any personal challenges you may be facing. It took me 48 years to find a therapist like her and i am so forever grateful for being able to do CBT and other therapy work with this gifted therapist.

I thought she was professional, empathic, and knowledgeable about CBT. I wish I could have had more time with her. Her waiting list is long so I was grateful to get in.

I have been in sessions with Dr. Eriksson for approximately 1 year focusing on social anxiety. She was very understanding and often made sure that she undersood me by clarifying what was being said and always communicated with compassion and clarity. She was used a variety of techniques for both explaining CBT as well as what I can do to practice it. I found her method of therapy very helpful as it is straightforward. I've noticed dramatic improvement in many aspects of my life both during and after our time together. Highly recommend her for CBT therapy.

Dr. Eriksson has anxiety in mind whenever she speaks with you which is appreciated, she is a realistic in her approach and clear with the intention and expectations of CBT from the very beginning.

As mentioned this isn't talk therapy so beyond recurrent current issues within your life it's not meant to get to root causes of issues. She is great at bringing you back down to earth when a cycle of anxiety takes over. Within my experience we were unsure on whether or not her expertise would be the best fit for how I was feeling at the time however as finding a therapist through referral is difficult we both agreed to give it a try and I am very happy that I did. Dr. Eriksson taught me many tools that I am still using a year and half post therapy.

I recommend her highly but only to those that have a realistic expectation for CBT as well as being in a place where you are able to do a little work and try new approaches to recurrent issues.

Agree with the previous poster. She is not a shoulder to cry on - that’s not the purpose of CBT. She is logical and compassionate which is what someone going to CBT needs. Highly recommend.
