Honestly .. this doctor is horrible. Like everyone else mentioned, she rushed me out of her office. She barely gave my issue any attention and told me I had misquito bites. I think i would know if I had misquito bites, I wasn't born yesterday. Not caring at all, and didn't care to answer my questions. She is the most terrible and the biggest waste of time ever. Her office is dingy and the grossest office I've ever been in. On top of that, I get smacked with a huge deductible bill saying she billed me for a procedure when there was absolutely no procedure done. She never even laid a finger on me. Avoid her at all costs!

This woman is a terrible doctor. She gave me an injection for an inflamed benign cyst and said it'd be fine, all in a very hurried manner. Needless to say, it wasn't fine; another dermatologist a year later simply took it out with a tiny incision and that solved the problem!

I have been a patient over 3 years. Dr. Persaud is an excellent, caring doctor and always has diagnosed and treated whatever condition I've had very well. She has a great bedside manner, and is extremely knowledgeable.

This doctor is limited in her abilities. It was interesting to see that another patient of hers had trouble with this dermatologists difficulty with bedbugs. Dr. Presaud can't tell the difference between bedbugs and scabies. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that it's difficult to tell the difference, but as a medical provider she should KNOW that there is a massive bedbug epidemic in New York City and should have appropriate advice directing patients to sources of information on the problem. I had bites in a row, as is common with bedbugs but at first really hadn't realized what was happening. If she had told me this was a common problem and had told me to find an exterminator, it would have helped, but she's too NARROW minded to delve into something that might not interest her as a dermatologist. She is narrow minded, snooty, detached and extremely limited in her capacities. I'm not sure she can handle much more than acne.

Dr. Persaud is an intelligent , caring doctor. I have seen her more than 5 times for different reasons .At all times she made the correct diagnoses and treatments were most effective.

The poor reviews that were posted before mine were spot on. This doctor has no bedside manners and seriously rushed me out of her office with a short glance at my skin problem (after making me wait 25 minutes in the little room). Her diagnosis was completely off; she cannot tell the difference between bug bites and poison ivy even after I pointed out the visible bite marks on each distinct blister (but that's probably because she never took a good look at my leg). My appointment was a huge waste of money. The first red flag should have been the fact that I had no problem booking an appointment on such short notice.

She hurried me out of the office and didn't want to explain anything. She also gave me some sample medication that I later discovered was expired 4 months ago. Trying to get her staff to write me a prescription for un-expired medicine is taking more convincing that it should.

Really disappointed in the other reviews here, I've had nothing but luck in dealing with Dr. Persaud so far. My ailment - acne. She set me up on a regiment of topical cremes, prescription face wash, and antibiotics. She also provided me with coupons for each prescription so the pharmacy bills is laughable. Most importantly, she answered all my questions and never hurried me through my visit.

I am very surprised to see the following reviews. She is a very caring and knowledgeble doctor. I had a skin condition, i have seen many dermatologists during the past 2 years. None of the treatments weren't helpful. Dr. Persaud not only diagnosed and she came up with a combination treatment that worked very well. Now my condition is cured and happy. Overall my expereince was positive and I recommend her.

Dr. Persaud misdiagnosed a skin condition which she told me was going to be chronic. I suffered for months while going back to her a number of times, but her treatment led to aggravating the condition. Finally, I went to another doctor who told me she was on the wrong track. The new doctor wrote a prescription for a fairly common ailment (I even suggested this ailment to Dr. Persaud and she dismissed it) and within a few days I recovered fully. I would stay clear of her.
