Dr qu peered me to take ambrosian which literally splinters your bones… this was after I had a stroke from Tamoxifen When I declined , he rushed into the room with one eye open and pointing at me with no respect to the fact it is my prerogative and decision. After that , he could get over his ego and it got worse…. He stuck his finger into the side of my breast and exclaimed “ knot!!!” I ditched him! Will only deal with like minded people and doctors. Doctors tend to get full of themselves and show their ignorance , lack of knowledge, and evilness. How am I doing? Cancer free from using a doctor of Humanizing Medicine that treats with holistic medicine( you know… like Susanne Somers! Treats the cancer while making you feel well and vibrant without harming
Your body with deadly toxins. Zero rating for this Nrod.

Dr. Qu saved me from an aggressive type of cancer 10 years ago. Today I continue to work and take care of my family. I am thankful to his passion, honesty and wisdom.

Dr. Qu gave my husband and I no options other than 6 rounds of chemo. No radiation, nothing else. After the chemo he asked if my husband was ready to go on hospice. That was 16 months ago and he's thriving!!! We fired him and went to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where he got additional chemo, radiation and is now on immunotherapy! GET SECOND OPINIONS!!! Just b/c the doctor says it doesn't mean it's going to happen!

Dr Qu has basically brought me back from deaths door. I was told on our first visit apron diagnosis that I only had a few days to live. One year later and I’m still here and still winning.
He and his staff have become more like family to us at this point. Most of them call us by name and are always asking how I’m doing. When I’ve had a concern or question away from the office and called about it, his nurse has always been very polite and he would call me back personally to address my concerns. Not many doctors do that these days.
In a nut shell......if you are going to battle cancer in the state of MS. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Brilliant doctor. He is more than up to date on my condition. I went to MD Anderson for a second opinion, only got the same advice. Now I know why he is highly regarded in this community.

Dr. Qu was my mother's cancer doctor. When I got breast cancer, there was no question in my mind who would be my oncologist. He is always honest, knowledgeable, and passionate. He never sugarcoats anything. I can see why some people don't like his straightforwardness but I would rather to know the simple truth.

He gets mad at you if your in a good mood and that's the honest to god truth! Told me I was going for a biopsy on a small spot the size of the tip of a pen and when I got to pre-admission for the procedure the surgeon told me I had a large mass the size of a half dollar and that he had to cut my chest open to get it!!! I had several Scans and saw Dr Qu several times and he never said anything about a large mass. I went ahead with the surgery and I still haven't seen a picture of it. Dr Qu was also very rude after the surgery. The surgeon assured me that he got all of the mass out and said that the other small spots was nothing to worry about. I told Qu what he said and his reply was "I'm your Cancer Dr not the surgeon" he started telling me if I didn't take chemo that the life expectancy for someone with this cancer was 2 months and with chemo it was 12 to 14 months like that was how long I had left to live. He also looked me in the eye and said " your going to die from this cancer" (keep in mind the surgeon said he got it all). Dr Qu also said "well you've got 2 choices...do you want to give up and die or do you want to take the chemo and fight it? Then he said sarcasticly "oh, I know you hate the chemo cause it messes up your hobbies and stuff". Not one time did he say that it looked good now after the surgery. He never acknowledged that the surgeon got it all or anything and when I mentioned it he got pissed off. And that's not the first time he's gotten pissed over a question that I asked. Dr Qu is very unprofessional just about every time he speaks with me. It seems that he gets pissed off if I come to an appointment and I feel good. I really believe he wants you to feel terrible every time you see him. He sees too many patients during the day(I usually wait on average 2 hours to see him) and I really think it effects his decision-making and he don't pay attention like he should. I mean come on!! Your dealing with peoples lives here!! It's very sad that i went into pre-admission thinking I was having a simple biopsy done and when the surgeon came in to talk, he said he was cutting my chest open, getting a large mass out, and it would be a 6 week recovery!!!! I immediately asked the surgeon if he had the right patient in front of him and asked if he might have picked up somebody else's chart because that was the first time that I heard of any large mass!! The surgeon was shocked along with all of his staff. In my opinion, I don't think Dr Qu even seen the mass on any of my scans. I think the surgeon is probably the one that seen it. I never got a call, heads up, or anything about it and that is just pitiful!!!! And then he gets mad when I mention that the surgeon said he got it all!!!! Wow!! I'm just guessing but I might know why he basically forces everybody he can to take the chemo....probably because every time that you go and take a dose of chemo, it costs $10,000.00!!!! and that's a fact. I have never been to or heard of another doctor that is so rude and unprofessional to his patients. I'm not sure what I have to do to switch doctors but I will defenitely be looking into it. I hope everybody that reads this thinks real hard about it before chosing Dr Qu.
