I honestly thought I could trust him because he seemed very compassionate and I thought I was fully understood. Because of my intersex condition making me have multiple diseases that has to do with females, I needed surgeries to remove the problem. For some reason I don't fully know, he didn't completely do what I needed during the surgery, so I made follow up appointments to get the additional procedure but that's when I learned that he wrote incorrect diagnosis and labeled me as "she" and "transgender" when I wasn't all this time. This caused way more problems with others and so I needed the medical records corrected. I thought talking to him for many times, I made myself clear but instead, he apparently didn't understand. He had no right to do this after I trusted him. It's such a shame how once seemingly nice and comforting person can just ignorantly say he is "accurate" when in reality, he's the inaccurate one. FYI, I am biologically male (my chromosomes are even xy). If I knew that he's been writing that about me, I wouldn't have went back because I feel so disgusted. Other doctors also made remarks and diagnosis based on the inaccurate words he wrote. The level of medical care when a person isn't born properly like me but still needed the care that was offered by the department is the worst.

I can't give Dr Richard just 5 stars but all the stars in the sky.
Anyone can go to him blindfolded and they will be ok.
I highly recommend him!
Thank you so much,

Since being diagnosed with Cervical Cancer - stage IIIb - and having a team of doctors at another hospital - I lost my GYN oncologist - and my niece recommended Dr. Richard - of course - I was not having it being that it takes time and a minute to come to terms with your doctor and his understanding - well - upon meeting Dr. Richard - he held my hands - told me not to worry that the process will be easy and to not stress myself out - that I will heal - be well and that I am in good hands - and I was - he even spoke at my DiWinning Cervical Cancer Awareness - "Women's Health Forum" - this pass August - and not only was he well prepared - organized and keep all of the ladies at the edge of their seat - but - he answer each and every lady question as he was talking with his mother - wife - sisters - and he have even had about three (3) ladies change their doctors to him - being that he is just a personable person - well informed - well talked - and show kindness - love - compassion and thoughtfulness - I love Dr. Richard as my doctor - and I thank God that I have him - he is very caring - kind - gentle - give you all the answers and more - no more worries and problems about my pap smears - he is a great doctor - and his staff is kind - understanding - and very attentive to my tight schedule.

Dr. Richard and his staff have extremely good bedside manners. They answered and calmed all my fears about questions related to my surgery. My recovery was much quicker and easier than I could have ever imagined. I would recommend Dr. Richard & his staff to anyone needing robotic hysterecotmy surgery.

I had a very scary uterine cancer issue and Dr Richard could not have been more understanding and great to me. I had issues with the surgery prep and his office was very prompt in calling me back. I had robotic surgery and was very nervous about getting such a major surgery done by a Dr I hardly knew and he made me feel very at ease. He talked to me in the hallway while we were waiting for the surgery table to be prepped, he was very kind to me during my post op office visits. Answered all my questions as well as my husband and families questions. Like the previous person said, he hugged me at my final office visit and said I truly hope to never see you again. I told him the same as visiting an oncologist is not high on anyone's list. Did not have to wait long at appts, everyone in office was respectful of patients. Can't recommend him higer if you need to have a hysterectomy or if you have any gynecological cancer.

I am in the health care profession, and this is by far one of the best physicians I have seen. You can tell that he really cares about his patients, he talks with you not at you. He answers all of your questions and he is readily available to questions & concerns after your consultation. I consider myself lucky to have found him and above all he is knowledge.
