After 4 babies and a different OB for each, 12 yrs later Dr. Chamberlain is still spoken about. She was by far the BEST! I have Uterine Attony. Her bedside manner is INCREDIBLE. She remained calm and gave me the greatest amount of reasurance and security that I was in great, knowledgeable hands. I am so grateful to be able to say I had the experience of having her at my side for 1 of my children's births. She is an angel!

Dr Chamberlain is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had. Her bedside manner is an equal mix of knowledge and caring. Wait times can be very long, but are worth it. I have been seeing Dr Chamberlain for colposcopy for the past couple years and after having had three children, assisted by other docs, and I can say that Dr Chamberlain is the best OBGYN Hamilton has to offer.

This is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met with. I had to get an expired IUD removed and replaced with a new one. I was VERY nervous as my first insertion 5 years ago was very painful.

Dr. Chamberlain was SO friendly, patient, and informative in a very non judgemental way. She validated my feelings of anxiety and was very chill about my sexual history and desire not to have children anytime soon. She also offered freezing to minimize the insertion pain which I didn’t even know was an option!! The whole thing was far more comfortable than my first experience and Dr. Chamberlain was patient and supportive the whole time. As a young woman, I’ve had quite a few negative experiences with health care providers and I was so relieved to of had such a great experience this time around.

Dr. Chamberlain delivered my second baby for me. It was a complicated delivery with labour that escalated very quickly. Dr. Chamberlain and the team working at St. Joe’s did an amazing job in making me comfortable, safe and well taken care of. My recovery was smooth and was stitched up perfectly. My first delivery was with a midwife and I cannot express how much more calm and well taken care of I felt. From cold towels, back rubs, and warm blankets.. the team was there helping before I even asked.

Dr Chamberlain kept me informed throughout my delivery, giving me a play by play and even checked in on my husband.

Extremely rude staff! Short and dismissive. Based on the initial phone conversation I decided to go else where. The lady on the phone said that after receiving my referral they will decide to accept me or not & only then schedule an appt. So if they do decide to take me as a patient it won't be until I'm in my 4 month of pregnancy till I see a doctor... if they don't I'm back at square one... I can't be bothered to put up with such disrespectful behaviour. Save yourself the trouble!

She is very friendly. takes time tp explain everything. She is non threatening in any way. Even with the explaining of things she never seems to leave anyone waiting .
