He is a good listener. Takes time to examine and to explain things to you. The staff are excellent and good at what they do.

Dr. Heydarian has been my primary for over 20 years. He's always cordial and listens carefully without rushing through the exams. The staff has treated me very well with no issues to get appointments and replies from the Doctor for off schedule questions.

I will be going back to see Dr. Heydarian for a follow up haven't seen him in over 2 yrs. seem concerned about that which made me feel better. Always tell me you have to take care of yourself . I never felt rushed he takes the time to explain everything thing on your test results and let you tell him how you feel no matter what or got a lot of unnecessary scripts from him . His bedside manner to me is awesome. The staff is friendly , the office manager is a bit to blunt for my taste though.

I see that no one has written a review in a very long time. I actually like Dr. HEYDARIAN very much, however he has become a problem. In the begging, about five or six years ago, he was very pleasant but lately he is very matter of fact and I feel he is rushing me out. He schedules my visits every six months which is because I have thyroid problems but I don’t understand why he will nor refill any medication no matter how inconsequential without a visit. The office manager, is not a pleasant person at all, in fact she’s rather rude and makes a big deal out of everything. I maybe wrong because it is the doctor’s practice but I think she is the problem here. Perhaps she has run another money-hungry doctor’s office and brought her habits with her. I say that because there is a sign posted on their wall stating that they charge $15.00 for any pre-authorization required for any medication, not to speak of the fact that I misplaced a lab order and stopped in for a copy to which she advised that there is a fee (considerable amount) to reprint an order. It’s a stupid piece of paper! I recently became eligible for Medicare, this month in fact, and although I had no plans to visit any doctor until January, I found myself with need to see the good doctor. The office manager was asking me if this or that changed and wouldn’t let me talk but when I got a word in and told her that the only change was that I now had Medicare she became outraged and told me that I needed to advise them right away as this did present a problem because they would have to re figure my insurance. How much sooner could I have advised when I just became eligible for Medicare. I have a secondary insurance which they are no longer are supposed to collect a copayment for yet they insisted on collecting it. We called the insurance and Medicare and they told that they are violating the clauses of their agreements. The good doctor also will not address any issues that involve sleep or nerves, asking that you see a specialist if you want to be treated. I had never been to a family doctor that referred me to so many specialists. Needless to say, I will be changing doctors to someone that isn’t trying to squeeze all that can be squeezed out of his patients and with helpful staff without a superiority complex.

Hello. I have been seeing Dr. Heydarian for about 4 years. I never had a problem. Lately, I have realized that it is becoming one, only because it is Madatory to make an appointment every 3 months for BP and refills. That is a bit to much for me. My schedule doesn't allow this when the time comes around. What happened to every 6 months visits. It is costly too. All these things should be taken into consideration. I have had to go without my HCTZ for about a wk, only because I couldn't make the appointment due to travel or other obligations that may occur at the last minute. My doctor is wonderful, but I wished my visits where not so back to back it seems. Other than that, Dr. Heydarian is wonderful. He takes good care of me and I am appreciative of that. He listens and I never feel rushed which is why I am still a patient. Thank you.

The wait times are generally 5+ minutes past the appointment time and you are usually waiting another 5+ minutes in the exam room. Dr.Heydarian always seems to rush the exam, I don't feel that he listens to my complaints because I usually leave the office empty handed with yet another referral script in hand. I once had strep throat, he ran a test, sent me home without meds and one week later I got a call from the office confirming my strep and was told to make yet another appointment to come in for meds. He prescribed a med that I was immune too. I told him this but he sent me off with it anyway. Two weeks later I arrive at the office again because I feel that I still have strep throat, he looks at my throat and says "I don't see any strep." Orders a test, waits a week, calls and says I have strep. I will be changing doctors at the beginning of the year.

Dr. Heydarian is probably like most doctors these days that deal with insurance, somewhat hurried and very prescription oriented. He's always been pleasant and tries to address my concerns. Fairly dismissive of alternative treatments like chiropractic, etc. Waiting room times can get long sometimes, but I have not had a problem getting in to see him in a timely manner. His office staff is better lately, and friendlier than they once were and the nurse, Alma, is wonderful.
