I’ve never been offended or frustrated by or with a medical professional until today when I saw Dr. Evelyn Sevilla. Today was my third time seeing Dr. Sevilla and after we went over some test results she asked me about other doctors and other apoinmetns and I brought up that I see a chiropractor and see was extremely rude and said that she was no going to co manage her patients or me and that if I wanted to go to other physicians than I could but i could not see her and either physicians so when I called back after I had left the doctors office and stated that I wanted to stay will dr, sevilla the guy at the front desk answering phones said I could not be scheduled their for appointments any more than dr. Sevilla has discharged me from her practice because I see more than one doctor for a medical condition. I was told that they could leave a message for dr Sevilla but that I would not be scheduled there anymore and that I needed to keep my appointments with my other doctors and find a new neurologist. Not only was she kind of rude but she dismissed me without even treating me for a medical condition that I have and now I have to wait 3-4 more months before I can see a neurologist. After the guy at the front desk told me this I said I can not schedule an appointment with her because I see another dr and he said yes and ok then I will find a different doctor that can help me and not be rude to me and he hung up. She also offered me two options which were botox and medication after we ran some tests and they came back negative.

Dr. Sevilla is intelligent, direct, honest, and truly cares about her patients. Dr. Sevilla was a practicing internal medicine doctor when I started seeing her in 1993. I had grand mal seizures during the last trimester of both pregnancies. I was not in Knoxville at the time. The first time I met her she recommended that I change seizure medications and I regret not making the change until 14 years later. She is very thorough. Dr. Sevilla is the opposite of may doctors. Several other doctors are looks like a horse, sounds like a horse, must be a horse. Dr. Sevilla will test to make sure it is not a zebra. She is very data driven and has never been wrong. Dr. Sevilla has diagnosed stroke that I had during birth (MRI), restless leg syndrome (with sleep study), Antithrombin III deficiency (with blood tests), and sugar issues (3-hour glucose test). I have been seizure free since 1991 with her care and guidance. If you need warm and fuzzy, she is not the doctor for you. I have been her patient for over 30 years and wouldn’t have any other doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Sevilla for several years for chronic migraine treatment. After 30 years of migraines I finally found something to reduce the number of migraines. Dr. Sevilla is very professional, intelligent, compassionate, honest, and sincere. As a health professional, pharmacist for 35+ years, I frequently recommend Dr. Sevilla for my patients who suffer from migraines. Do not believe the negative reviews.

I’ve never been more offended by a medical professional in my life than I was sitting in the office of Dr. Evelyn Sevilla. Upon any research of this dr, you will notice many negative reviews and I ignored them thinking no one could be as bad as what people were saying. As I was out of my migraine medicine at the time, I really wasn’t in a place to be picky about what doctor I saw. However, I couldn’t stand the way she was talking to me, disrespecting me and interrupting me - I ended up walking out of the appointment after being in the room with her for 10 minutes. If you have a referral to see her or are thinking about going to her, I urge to you RUN don’t walk to your primary care physician and ask for a referral to anyone else in this town. Unless you only want botox, don’t waste your time. Also, her office is extremely run down and feels dirty. In the age of COVID and in the year of 2020, haven’t we been through enough? Spare yourself the disappointment and co-pay.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sevilla with a complex health history and preceded by a number of misdiagnoses from other doctors. Dr. Sevilla was very patient in collecting my back history and answering my questions about her diagnosis and prescribed treatment plan. Amazing to me since as an engineer, I ask a lot of questions. I have had doctors who were offended that I would dare to ask questions! Not Dr. Sevilla! She gladly explained and welcomed my follow up questions. Her treatment plan worked when nothing else had worked!

I highly recommend Dr. Sevilla! For the first time, my headaches are manageable and less intense as well as less frequent. Her goal is to get me pain-free and I believe her. I came in believing I had cluster headaches - but Dr. Sevilla said it was hemicrania continua - a rarer type of headache. Her treatments are working. I believe I will be pain-free in the near future!

Her staff and nurses are equally compassionate, kind and efficient. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the reception or the exam room!

This is by far the worse experience I’ve ever had a dr office. After waiting 2 1/2 hours for her to come into the room, she was the most rude woman I’ve ever met. She does not listen to you & proceeded to tell me “it doesn’t matter what you want”. Her exact words. Idk how she is still in practice

I have had migraines for 42 years. I have been hospitalized many times, They have been debilitating to me as a whole. It actually shut down my working and activities with my family. I was bed-ridden because of the pain and the horrible symptoms. Dr. Sevilla is very compassionate and Knowledgeable about my migraines. She discussed in detail about my symptoms and trigger points, etc. She recommended Botox shot. She also look at all the medications I was taking and realigned them , stopping some and adding others. She is very diligently in getting the combination right which had a great impact along with the Botox to stop the migraines and improve the quality of my life. The only word I can think of to say about her is "WOW". By the third or fourth Botox session, not only was I feeling better and able to enjoy life, but the migraines went from having 1 a day to 1 or 2 a month. I am grateful that she took the time to pin-point my issues. I would proudly recommend her for anyone who has migraines. May God Bless Dr. Evelyn A. Sevilla for the work she does to stop these migraines from ruling/ruining our lives. Thank you Dr. Sevilla.

She has kept my MS stable for 10 years. And, Yes, I don't always like what she tells me I need to do. But, that is her job! She has been extremely successful in my case and I am VERY thankful that she has stayed firm with me. I know without Dr. Sevilla, I could easily be in a wheelchair by now!!
