have not seen the doctor yet but they cannot bill any insurance until the end of
March because they are a new clinic. even though he is an established doctor. the initial cost is 275 for first visit and 175 for each monthly visit. im on disability and i think 275 for atleast just first visit is worth it. i dont have to drive out to fredricksburg or va beach.
it is called HOPE CLINIC the address is 7489 Right Flank Rd suite 300 mechanicsville va 23116. im soon to be a former patient of dr. decker since he is leaving practice perm since his back surgery. the list they gave me of doctors most dont do narcotic medications and others only take part of my insurance leavinf me with about the same price of a monthly visit to pay. so ill atleast try and wait out the insurance. got an appointment already set so from here we shall see. good luck to anyone else whos still looking. its hard.
oh as a previous person posted the phone number for hope clinic aka richmond pain clinic is 804-467-0662 fax 804-277-3267
they ask for print out of last six months from pharmacy for medications and govt issued photo id at first visit. and of course always have your list of medications and any other important information they would need to know such as surgeries injections etc. hope this was helpful.

Would really like to know where he went, at last appointment with hamza was told in the end Deschner was giving business cards to where he was going, Deschner really took the time to listen and had come highly reccomended by Dr Young who did my 3 back surgeries and said narcotics were my best option as I had tried all the alternatives and there was just too much damage. Deschner agreed with Young. So if anyone knows please post.

It took a long time for me to get to a doctor that cared and believed me when I told them how much pain I was in. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes its very punctual - but the person below sounds like an addict - sometimes the meds work and sometime they don't. I have never had to call 27 times to get an appt or anything crazy like that. It's pain management and there are rules. If your meds run out before your next appt., that's on you, not on the doctor/office.

I was forced to go through withdrawals for 9 days while I was out of pain medication because Dr. Deschner's staff could not take the time out of their schedules to return a fax to my insurance company. Of the 27 times I called, I spoke to the nurse 4 times, and of the 23 other messages left only 3 calls were returned. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone. Your average wait time is 2 hours and you see the doctor all of 5 minutes and they don't care if your medication isn't working as long as they get paid for your visit. Getting your records to a new doctor takes 3 weeks after you go down in person to sign the medical release form.
