My wife and I were recommended to see her for our 2 year old at the time. To our surprise she recommended our daughter needed glasses due to her stigma. The wait time was outrageous and several months down the road we were told by an opthemologist she didn't need glasses. We won't be going back .

Both myself and spouse have been under the care of Dr. Robertson, approximately 15 years, since moving to Niagara-on-the-Lake. More recently, Dr. Robertson, has been providing me with special care due to a viral infection and has even asked me to call, day or night, if the need arises. I have no hesitation in stating that both Dr. Robertson and her staff are extremely professional, caring and devoted to the welfare of their patients. The top notch care and attention that one expects from Dr. Robertson's clinic is truly admirable.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Robertson-Woods! I had a burst blood vessel in my eye and she fit me in as an emergency. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!

Wait time for this doctor is outrageous. I was a new patient and was at her office for nearly 3 hours, I don't even think she showed up after lunch until an hour after my appointment time. No respect for her patients time. Good Doctor but definitely not worth the wait. I found the staff very pleasant and glasses selection was beautiful; I had plenty of time to browse waiting for my very late appointment; however I didn't buy my glasses there because I was will never give Dr. Woods another penny.

The doctor is fine. She is slow and does take her time, but it isn't too bad the times we've been there. That said, it is important to respect people's time. The "support" staff is another story. They are hardly have a smile to spare and can actually be quite unpleasant. Sadly, if the staff aren't good, the doctor's reputation suffers. In this case, particularly the assistants who do preliminary assessments, need to be educated on customer support and basic kindness.

Yes I had a similar experience where I almost had to wait 3 hours for her while she was in with one patient and talking about personal stuff. (walls are thin when you are in the bathroom) I left and when I rebooked and came back ....no apology.

I will never go back.. 3 hours.. Yes you heard me.. 3 hours at the doc for an eye app for me and my child.. Pressured into buying the glasses right then and there.. Wasn't told about the dispensing fee... When I called over two weeks later about my glasses (I called because they told me 1 week) I asked the receptionist what was happening and if my glasses were in and she said very rudely.. And I quote "well did we call you" and I explained no you didn't but it's been 2.5 weeks... Put me on hold to check and they were in fact there .. Couldn't believe it. Took another child of mine for the app and were there over 2 hours.. Just rediculous.. And then again no call for the glasses and had to call to find out what was going on.. I will never return

I have had to wait over an hour each time I have seen Dr Robertson woods. I have booked the first appointment in the morning -she's late. The first appointment after lunch- she's really late! She seems to know her stuff but talks very fast during the exam and does some tests at her office instead of waiting months to see a specialist. I shouldn't need to spend over 2 hours to get my yearly eye exam. The staff is very good.

My eyes were examined, and I purchased eyeglasses through Dr. Robertson-Woods' office. There was a dispensing charge of $218.00, on top of the cost of the eyeglasses. The glasses didn't fit right, because the arms weren't long enough. The arms would cost an additional $20, and they had to be ordered. They should have been ordered correctly in the first place. After I got my glasses, I couldn't see any better. I went back to the doctor within a few days, and she said I had cataracts in both eyes, and referred me to an ophthalmologist. The cataracts should have been dealt with BEFORE prescribing new glasses. After I have cataract surgery, I would assume my eyesight will improve, and I'll need different prescription, and at an additional cost. I won't be returning.
