Dr. Perera is kind and patient. She is attentive to all her patients’ needs. I have been going to her for years and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

My family has been going to Dr. Perera for many years now. Our experience has always been positive and pleasant. I have a very difficult prescription and the staff always goes above and beyond to help me choose the best fit for my glasses. My son is now 4 and has already been 2x to get his eyes checked since I have a history of poor eyesight. Dr. Perera is kind and patient with him. We would not trust anyone else to take care of our eyes!! Absolutely fantastic Doctor and office!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Perera’s for many years and have always found her to be very caring, attentive and extremely thorough with her eye examinations. Recently I experienced some visual disturbances which were quite alarming. Dr. Perera did a very comprehensive exam and explained in detail my eye condition. She recommended a follow up appointment to monitor the condition. Dr. Perera allayed my fear of what I was experiencing with my vision and I was grateful that she will continue to monitor my eye condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Perera.
I have also found her staff to be helpful, pleasant and professional which was the case again, most recently, in helping me select new glasses and in having them adjusted.

My experience with Doctor Perera and her staff was excellent. I had double vision for distance, especially scary when driving. If I squinted, it would disappear, But it was very draining doing it all day. She explained in detail what was happening, and she moved forward with special lenses to correct my problem. It was such a huge relief after seeing two doctors before her unable to help me. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Perera is a careful and caring optometrist. In my case, it took a great deal of time to get my prescription correct and Dr. Perera gave me that time, checking and rechecking to ensure that glasses would be correct. My glasses are correct and I have excellent vision with both distance glasses and computer glasses. It took time to get this script correct and Dr. Perera gave me that time. I highly recommend her.

Id give NO stars the way she treated my son the whole staff!
I called and they told me that she specializes in children under the age of 5! They advised that they require masks in the building which is NOT A PROBLEM! Then she said he MUST wear a mask to be seen i advised her NOT BY LAW FOR A CHILD UNDER 2. (the secretary put me on hold and ask the doctor if this was okay she agreed) she asked when i called when we arrived at the appointment to put a child on him and then she asked again when we came in side! Then Dr Sharmila Perera asked again I said NO!!!! He is under 2 and NOT required by LAW to where a mask! She then treated us like garbage after this! She first tried to exam my son out in the waiting area not even in a closed room! (which is very odd) then she wanted my son to sit down which he did and was listening fairly well to her for being 2 and then she started to squeeze his arm and he did not like that the 2nd time is where I said can you please NOT squeeze his hand as he said he did not like that! She then wanted to get one of her workers to come help and use my phone to play songs which I advised she is not going to touch my device just like she didn't want us to touch hers! Then she proceeded to tell me if I wanted to chose another Optometrist as he is not staying listening! Which I said we would be glad too, he is only 2 I explained and when we called we were told you specialize in children! Which I can see now your abusive towards them you make them feel scared! Shame on you and your staff!

Arrogant. Very slow and seemed overwhelmed, and not apologetic for keeping us waiting. Dads routine visit took over 2hours, did not review notes from referral Dr. The staff were helpful and courteous. Dr. made us wait even longer to get the prescription when we said we shop. Michael R.

This office is staffed by caring , efficient staff. I’ve been a patient there many years . I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Perera is kind and cares that I have the best eyesight possible. Caroline is amazing, l always love my glasses that she helps me pick . So blessed to a patient in this office. Cheryl B
