Dr.Winn has been my doctor for over 40 years. She is amazing. I know she was at Primecare Monterey and arrived 1 day at her office and her key didn't work and her personal things were placed outside. A letter was sent that she had quit. Untrue, Primecare was upset at how much time she spent with her patients. Primecare sent a letter to her patients and she quit without notice. I got one of these letters. I advised her to have Primecare charged with libel. Best doctor ever.

I am a patient of Dr. Karen Winn for over 20 years. She need to relocate and since December 2013 with no office yet. Please anybody knows where her office? Like most of her patients are looking for her. She was the best doctor I ever had.

Dr. Winn has been my doctor for about 18 years. I think she is the best diagnostician, the smartest, most amazing doctor I have ever known. She never rushes you and explains everything in great detail. She LISTENS to your concerns, and schedules your appointment according to the time she believes she will need with you. I have never had a problem with her office and find the staff very helpful. The only complaint I have is she has closed her office to relocate, and it has been almost seven months, with no office yet. That is hurting her patients and many are seeking other PCP's. I will wait because I have never had a doctor I admired more than her. She studies very hard for you and even with the complaints about the staff, I have never found these to be true.

Staff is rude, terrible, and incompetent. Dr Winn's follow thru is lacking. We'll be looking for new dr and do not have any intention to return!

Dr. Winn was my doctor for several years. I have a thyroid disorder that was difficult to diagnose but Dr. Winn kept trying different tests and succeeded. Overall, I never felt like she had her hand on the door knob ready to fly out of room. She is very thorough and knowledgable. I had to move to Florida and have missed Dr. Winn as my doctor for the last 7 years. I may be moving back to the Salinas area and I will no doubt set up an appointment with her once again.

I have been seeing Dr. Winn for many years since she was a physician at PrimeCare. She is an excellent doctor who cares about her patients. She is pleasant to talk to and is very knowledgeble about her specialty which is endocrinology. She always sets aside ample to time to discuss your diagnosis and is very receptive to patients. Last year, she had a horrible receptionist. I almost thought about leaving because of the office staff, but to my pleasure, this person is now gone. Things are running very smoothly now. I highly recommend Dr. Winn.

I saw Dr. Winn for years and really trusted her as my physician. She is a wonderful, caring doctor. However, her staff was incompetent, they didn't return calls, lied about returning calls, didn't follow up as promised, etc. They also sometimes made me feel like I was "mistaken," or gave them misinformation in an attempt to cover their own mistakes. I finally switched doctors because I could no longer trust the competency of her staff and felt it might be a reflection of bigger issues at-hand.

I've been seeing Dr. Winn for 10 years and am very happy with her as an MD. It's the issues with the staff that are driving me closer to seeking another MD. Staff is either incompetent or just won't work as a team. Promised phone calls are not returned, nor is there appropriate follow-up on test results. Several times in recent months I have made the 40 mile round trip to pick up a promised prescription or samples, only to be greeted by a different patronizing staff who sent me away empty-handed, with an unfriendly reprimand of why it was obvious the promised item could not be given to me (making me wrong for listening to the other staffperson). Icing on the cake was taking unpaid time off work to drive there for an appt. during rush hour this week, and staff had failed to advise me the doctor was out sick that day. Dr. Winn gets an A, staff gets an F. She needs a better-trained staff if she wants to keep her patients. This patient's patience is running out.
