I went to Dr. Solomon several years ago and this experience has always stuck out to me. I was in my late teens at the time (early college) to get a prescription for the pill. She was condescending and asked me inappropriate questions like if my parents knew I was there and what my boyfriend thinks about me being there (assuming I was in a relationship). She was clearly not taking me seriously because of my age. I have never had a health care professional treat me this way before or after this experience. Steer clear of this pompous “professional” unless you want to be belittled.

You will have your baby at her convenience or suffer the consequences of a cesarean section

Dr. Soloman is a wonderful, kind doctor as is the NP that works with her. She listens and has a great sense of humor. But her recetionaist staff needs training. They are generally rude and disclose other patient information in front of you and make comments about other patients. This violates HIPPA laws. Dr. Soloman will need to find new staff once the patients satisfaction survey reach the MD offices. In the hospital I work for they would be fired.

Dr. Solomon is a warm, caring doctor who is professional and experienced. She deals with situations calmly and builds a real connection with her patients. Once I moved, I still cant find a doctor like her anywhere!

I went to Dr. Laurie Solomon because she came highly recommended. However, her answering service didn't pick up when I went into labor with my second child and she arrived after I delivered my baby. I gave her another chance with because I liked her but no longer have any confidence in her professional judgement. We found out my baby died in utero during my 19 week sonogram, and because the hospital she is affiliated with is Catholic, she couldn't perform the procedure to remove the fetus. She then sent me to an abortion clinic to have the procedure done and had no idea it was an abortion clinic (not a place you want to be on a good day but even worse after losing a baby). A quick search revealed that the clinic had previously been shut down by the state due to a botched abortion and that this clinic performed thousands of abortions per year. I find it disgraceful that someone who calls herself a professional refers a patient to a clinic she has no knowledge of.

Great doctor, wonderful woman. She will take her tme with .you, when you get to see her but her staff is notoriously nasty. The waits are long. And she is the only MD in the office so if there is more than one emergency you are out of luck.

Very difficult to get appointments, and when you do bring a few books...its going to be awhile. Staff is not polite. Felt treated more like a number than a cared about patient. Phone nurses/operators wont put calls through on weekends. Absolutely, would not recommend to friends.

I was told by her service that they will not call her on a Sunday since my clogged duct and 103 fever was not an emergency, and she gave specific instructions to only call her in case of an emergency...all I wanted is for her to call in a script. Never met a Dr that cared less

Dr. Solomon is great, as is the NP and the nurses. However, the receptionists are extremely rude. I have never had to deal with such rude receptionists.
