I have been a patient of Dr. Golin since he took over the practice when Dr. Harrison retired. I have complete faith in Dr. Golin's knowledge and abilities. Yes, sometimes the wait is maddening but then you remember he will not rush you when you get into the exam room and you calm down. If it is an absolute emergency then go the the ER or come in to see one of the other 4 Dr.s in the clinic. At least one of them will have an open appointment. Dr. Golin has always sent me to the appropriate specialist if required. He is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. Kind, compassionate, know his stuff and I trust him.

Not just a doctor but a truly remarkable human being. I feel revitalized after seeing him even. You have to be willing to wait though.

Dr. Golin is very nice and caring person. Excellnet doctor which spends fair amount of time with each patient. I am his patient for last 12 years. He is the best doctor I ever had.

As a newcomer and a Russian-speaking person I had a sad experience of seeing him for many years just because he speaks Russian and if your English is not so good during the first several years of living in Vancouver, of course, you go to see him. I don't know how he treats Canadians, so they write such good reviews, but from his Russian-speaking patients I heard so many complaints about this doctor, especially his very LOW knowledgeability and his UNWILLINGNESS to refer his patients to specialist doctors. Even a referral for a lab test you need could be very hard to get. From my personal history of my disease I had been seeing him for 7 months asking him to give me a referral for a certain lab test, but he always denied saying "this test is TOO EXPENSIVE and unnecessary" until I ended up in emergency room and had a surgery because of the very same problem I saw him so many times for. I heard lots of similar stories from people I know when they've been misdiagnosed by this doctor.

Absolutely wonderful doctor, wouldn't change for anything.... wait time is annoying, but as soon as it is your turn, the wait proves to be worth it..... thank god for a caring, compassionate friend and doctor. As well, staff is knowledgeable, polite, caring and considerate.

Dr. Golin is not only good, he is careful, caring and conscientious. As a result, once in a while you have to wait to get in to see him. But if you think about it, people regularly wait to get their cars fixed. How much more important is your body?

dr.Golin newer ever been on time to deel with patient. Average waiting time at clinic lobby -about one or one hour and half. Urgent call with sharp pain - denyed inspite of tears and entreaties. Where I should go? To Emergency Room at Hospital? Why I need such a doctor at that case? It's better to change doctor and have more care and attention.
