It's been a nightmare dealing with them. They don't care about thier patents, there is no compassion or personal service it's all about them. They purchased the practice that my father with demintia went too, I was told nothing would change transition would be smooth and level a care and needs would remain the same.
ALL LIES!!!! No attempted to provide care for him and his specific need. If you don't fit into thier model they could care less about you.

Steven, my PA, is awesome in the care he takes with me. I saw Dr Perlman on my initial visit several years ago but I have the greatest faith in the PA's she has on staff. Say what you want they have kept me in good health.

I have a lot of wonderful things to say about Dr. Perlman and her amazing staff. I've been a patient for a little over 3 yrs now and between Jennifer, Kristen and Dr. Perlman my family &I have had the best care anyone could ask for. I receive prompt service, valuable courtesy calls; follow up emails and true concern for my health. They don't rush me through a visit and make me feel like a number. I am so happy with the care that I now have my husband and 16 yr old daughter seeing them too. Dr. Perlman’s team is ALWAYS kind, respectful and they really care about their patients’. Perlman & her team are THE BEST CARE GIVERS I HAVE EVER HAD! Thank you for always being there for me and my family. We truly appreciate the after hours calls, the quick lab result response time and most of all the friendly warm staff. Even calling the receptionist is a great experience. Dr Perlman has been my primary for 12+ yrs. & she is the best. Very knowledgeable & caring. I've had many illnesses & would receive calls from Dr. Monica at midnight to check up on me. In fact once she called me on Valentine's day midnight after checking my lab results of that day and orderED me into the hospital. She made all the arrangements with the hospital & all I had to do is go in. I've had a few very unusual immune diseases that she spent months reseaching calling in specialists to help her. She is caring, deligent and not only an outstanding doctor, but a wonderful human being. My husband is also using Dr. Perlman as his primary (and he is very peticular on who he choses.) If you are looking for a new physcian, I highly recommend Dr. Perlman. In fact she now has a satelite office in Rancho Santa Fe for patients who do not want to travel to La Jolla. However, I would travel to South Bay if I had to & I live in Oceanside. GREAT DOCTOR...GREAT PERSON

I am not happy with my experience at the Perlman Clinic and have since changed my PCP. Despite a contractual obligation w/my insurance provider they charge me up front for things they are not supposed to. Both my insurance company and I have called and written multiple times and they still will not refund just under $50 still owed to me. The Receptionist is the Billing Department, and tends to get snippity when I question these practices and ask for my money back which I never owed in the first place but paid up front or they wouldn't provide services. Though Dr. Perlman was my PCP, I saw her once and she never recognized me after that. Her Assistant, Silva Toledo is a sweetheart as is another nurse in the office (redeeming qualities.)
