I am back because of complications and have no idea what has caused these problems, but, at this point, I have no reason to suspect Cunningham's work on me.

BUT; as noted by others on here; his surgical booking nurse is a nightmare; very rude, unhelpful, and provided inaccurate and incomplete preparation procedures for my treatments, leaving other medical professionals doing work to compensate for her failures to this patient.
My GP is getting me a replacement Dr.

I went to Dr Cunningham for an umbilical hernia repair. He told me he would repair it with mesh, and said recovery would take a total of 7 weeks. After my surgery he said he didn’t use mesh and I’d be good to go after recovery period. After going back with concerns for a year, he had to do a second procedure to fix the pain and scar. After another 2 years of referrals and tests and doctors appointments, and I’m back in the hospital for a 3rd procedure. After telling him over and over about my pain and discomfort, he told me to “gain weight to flatten the scar”. Fast forward to 4 years since the initial surgery, and I’m still in pain, the scar is is screwed up and I’m still going through tests and doctors appointments. This “easy fix” or “simple procedure”, has been nothing more than a head ache and 5+ years of pain and discomfort. Don’t recommend. Nice person, friendly.

He helped treat my husband after a major trauma for a ruptured spleen. He was caring, kind, and very knowledgeable. He also has a great sense of humour :-) We were very lucky to be under his care.

Dr Cunningham is guiding me through breast cancer. He has been nothing less than kind, warm, thoughtful, and concerned for my well being. Decisions about my treatment plan have been collaborative and based on the input of breast cancer specialists with whom he has consulted.

I spoke to Dr Cunningham's assistant, Christy, who was extremely unpleasant to me over the phone, very abrupt, rude and stand offish. Additionally, she could not answer my queries, and seemed enraged that I even had queries. So not only was she rude, she was totally unhelpful. Safe to say, I decided to take my name off Dr. Cunningham's waiting list, and go elsewhere as no one should be treated like that.

This dumb idiot totally disregarded surgeon orders that anti-biotics be finished for abscess that occurred during initial surgery. Instead he decides to discharge the patient with Advil. Surgeon said he would "talk to him" in other words he didn't care at all that he couldn't follow his own instructions. Stay far away from this one.

In the last 6 months I have had 5 ostomy surgery's by 4 different surgeons , Dr. Cunningham rates a 10 out of 10 in every way... He is down to earth and cares

Doctor Cunningham just finished a hernia surgery for me. Procedure went smooth with minimal pain. He is highly skilled with a great sense of humour!
