Made constant snarky remarks about my reluctance to get an iud, told me to see a hormone doctor then didn’t suggest any or refer me, gave me a “prescription” for canesten when I’d said I’d already tried it multiple times, and made me feel very uncomfortable about my body hair. Not for the faint of heart. Was also ridiculously late for my apt and didn’t even know who her next client was.

Had my first phone appointment with Goodrow last week since requesting a new doctor (my last one I had for 3 years & I was not being well looked after)
Goodrow instantly put my mind at ease when she started talking to me like a person & making sure she had all my medical history in my charts (my previous doctor didn’t even do that) she spent time going through everything with me to make sure she had it right and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. She called me on time which I was also not used too.
I liked that she asked me what id like to proceed with in my fertility journey as well as giving me her professional opinion but it was not pushy at all.

Compared to the doctor I had before Goodrow made me feel more cared for after 1 conversation than my other one did after 3 years. I’m hoping she’s the new set of eyes on my case I need.

The horrible reviews on here are correct. We were at Juno Waterloo with Dr. Goodrow for about 9 months. We talked with her twice over the phone and I saw her once in person when she did my sono. She diagnosed us with unexplained infertility and did not even try to figure out the source of our fertility issues. Most of the communication was coming from the nurses and they seemed also confused - once regarding the sperm results "Wait. Dr. Goodrow didn't ask you to repeat the sperm test?" and once regarding my tests. After my first unsuccessful IUI, the nurses didn't show any compassion or empathy... And there was no word from Dr. Goodrow. The amount of miscommunication and misinformation we received from this clinic is despicable. Since then, we've changed clinics and the doctor at the new clinic diagnosed our fertility issues in the first meeting (looking at the sperm and my results from Juno!!), ordered tests to confirm his diagnosis, and provided solutions. Bottom line is, Dr. Goodrow only cares about herself and the money. She is not interested in treating your infertility. Don't waste your time with her and her team!

Dr Goodrew is now at Juno Fertility. Despite all the negative comments below she is a REALLY knowledgeable dr. I was diagnosed with PCOS and she helped me get pregnant in the most natural way possible within 4 months. She is very kind, takes her time to listen. She solved so many of my issues that my family doctor couldn’t. Yes sometimes you have to remind her of certain things BUT keep in mind she is seeing multiple clients & trying to help us all - so cut her some slack. Nothing but good for her, my husband and I definitely recommend her.

Do not make the same mistake we did an ignore the reviews. Lucky for us we have a family member at another clinic so we were able to figure out what she does is wrong and only to get as much money out of you as she can. Her clinic also charges 3x the amount other clinics charge. Save your time, money and aggravation and avoid her and Avona clinic Toronto.

Horrible experience. I had to report her behaviour to her superiors. Condescending and insulting comments were directed at us meanwhile she was in error. We did not get pregnant and I was thankful as I didn't want her tied to that memory. Still can't forget how she treated me.

Unprofessionalism, no bedside manner or empathy. For someone working with those who are experiencing infertility, we really don't care to hear about her horses or personal life! Glad she's retired now and a doctor who actually cares about their patients can take over her patient's files.

I didn't want to believe all the horrible reviews but they are all true. It became quite clear over time spent with Dr. Goodrow, that she does not care about her patients and only cares about her bottom line ($$$). She could never recall any details about my history or treatment and did not have the knowledge to refer me to a specialist right away when this was ultimately what was needed in the end and caused unnecessary delays in trying to conceive. All appointments began with her talking about her personal life without once asking me how I was doing. I cannot express the relief I feel not having to see her again. Avoid her at all costs.

Poor chairside manner. Seems very rushed to get things over with when she is doctor of the day at RCC. I'm glad she is not our primary doctor.
