Sorry that this review is about 7 years late ! My husband was very fortunate to have Dr Visentin at RVH when he was very ill. She made the correct diagnosis but wanted a specialist to confirm. When she discovered that no one had followed up on his case after staying at the hospital for 10 days she took control and made things right. We have the utmost respect for this doctor. She is straight forward and a doer. We are very fortunate to have her continued care . The girls in the office are also wonderful. We cannot express our thanks and gratitude enough for Dr Visentin.

I have been seeing Dr.Visentin for a few years and I find that she is very thorough and tenacious. This is what we need in all of our doctors. I recommend Dr.Visenin to anyone who wants to get results for their issues. Excellent doctor!

This woman is AMAZING! She was so good with my elderly mother - relatable, funny, attentive and engaged. She did her research thoroughly and knew Mom's history in detail. She was respectful and open, inviting me to fill in blanks or give my perspective where appropriate but also making room for Mom to have her say. This is the BEST care I have seen my Mom as a senior with a number of ailments including dementia. For the first time in a long time I feel hope we might get answers on Mom's state of health and a great sense of trust in the outcome of this Doctor's analysis regardless of what that is because it is clear she is not dismissing our concerns about Mom's health and is prepared to investigate it thoroughly before she will draw any conclusions.

She is the worst Dr. and person anyone could look to for aid with health. Literally no compassion, no manners, rude and talks over you. All she does is send you to other specialists. And once I got to them, they didn’t even understand why she sent me to them. She took me off a medicine that was important to my diagnosis without any knowledge of what it would do to me, that made me worse than when I got there. Even has a sign in her waiting room that says...if your wearing perfume you will be asked to leave. Shouldn’t that be told when appt. booked and who would send you away after you just waited for months to get in. No consideration for anyone’s valuable time except hers. Find a different doctor if at all possible!!

I have the bad fortune or dealing with her and I found her rude and she didn't listen to anything I had to say. She said I had sleep apnea which the test proved I didn't and she said I needed to eat less and exercise more which if I ate any less I wouldn't be eating at all and I couldn't exercise because my feet and legs were so swollen that my skin felt like it was going to split open when I stood up. She sent me for an echocardiogram which showed my heart was fine and she refused to accept that what I was telling her was the truth. You don't gain 100 pounds in 4 months and swell up so that even friends don't recognize you in pictures when you are not eating because you feel so sick. She totally dismissed me and said she couldn't help me. She said I needed to accept that I was fat and needed to exercise. I left in tears and would never go back to her and if I was in the emergency and she was the only internist on call I would go elsewhere. Another doctor recommended blood pressure meds and diuretics and I lost all the weight in several months and felt much better. Please stay away from her.

Second visit with this doctor even though I found her rude, unfriendly, and had a superiority about her that I found offensive. Would not answer my questions or did so in a overly arrogant manner. On this second visit she did not even remember seeing me even though she performed a stress test only 5 days before. She informed me that according to the results I had had a heart attack but without any compassion refused to answer any questions that I had in my obvious upsetting revelation. She actually escorted me to the door and said she was done with me. A very cold arrogant Dr.

Dr Visentin was excellent while dealing with my issues. She allowed me to ask questions and made sure that I was aware of my potential issues. I followed her orders and made very good improvements upon my follow up appointment. Dr Visentin is honest and will tell you how it is instead of what you want to hear - a value that I myself appreciate greatly whereas others may be sensitive and think they are being talked down to. One of the finest doctors I've met. It's been years since I've been seen by her, but she quickly pinpointed what disease I probably had (she was right) after over ten years of no diagnosis.
