Arrogant, presumptuous, misinformed, copy and paste haste of prior "opinions" vs scientific diagnostics. Quick to judge. Not open minded. No two way dialog here , whatsoever. This physician is disinterested in knowing the patient, or understanding their needs.

Dr. Himelfarb makes this clear immediately. Self interest and a conceited arrogance, is what I met within my one time interaction with Dr. Himelfarb.

Patient profiling is part of this service.... this is the style of physician you'd want to avoid, at all costs. Mistakes will happen in your health care, and you will have no say in your own health care, if you allow this physician to strong arm, bully you.

She was on duty as the tele-medicine doctor at my regular walk in clinic. I had a phone appt. with her and was very pleased with her calm, kind voice, listening skills, medical advice, and thorough, non-rushed answers to my questions. She was very punctual with the TM appt. and called me at the start of the scheduled time window.

I booked two appointments with Dr. Himelfarb one for myself, one for my son for a pre-existing condition. I specifically booked the phone appointment indicating I wanted to get a referral to see my ENT as I know he has been successful in help with our issue. After explaining to her our history and that we would simply like to go back to our previous ENT Dr. Himelfarb still made us make another two appointments to go in to the clinic to see a GP in person to get a referral. She said she couldn't refer us to a specialist without us first being physically seen in person. I told her normally I would have done that but due to the pandemic and current health orders I didn't think that was a good course of action to physically go to a walk-in clinic and wait indefinately. I feel that she is milking the system unnecessarily to get paid and not making prudent judgement under the situation we are in. So she basically got paid for two appointments accomplishing nothing. Not very effective and waste of tax payers money.

Failed to show up for 8am booked appointment. Left me hanging in need of a simple prescription, and the online MD only allows one appointment per day per person, so I was deprived of treatment by the doctor's failure to wake up in the morning. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and uncaring.

Dr. Himelfarb jumped to conclusions quickly on the issue I was having, and essentially suggested that my concerns were just due to anxiety, but ended up ordering tests to investigate that issue anyways. I found her manner to be patronizing and not particularly helpful. However, she did seem knowledgeable. I would not ever go to her for a mental health issue.

I want to start a Doctors Rate My Patient site.. So many assessments are just grumpy foul minded folks who want to grumble anonymously. Not on this site but on others I think Doctors should have the right of direct reply and rebuttal ..

Dr. Himelfarb has been my GP for over 30 years and I feel very fortunate to have her as my GP. She is typically on time and if there is a delay, I am confident that it is for a good reason.
