He mailed a prescription, without a letter, for a back brace one month after we met and will not answer our questions regarding the length frequency or desired effect of a back brace. I tried to schedule a phone consultation to answer the questions and telephoned 4 times to ask how to get my questions answered. $800 to see him face to face, after waiting in the outer office for 1.25 hours and being told my son needed a $5000 MRI my new adept and professional doctor told me was quite unnecessary.

Dr. Deluca performed miniscus surgery and ACL surgery on me about 3 months later. I cannot express how great of a job he did for me. I was at work after 2 days with the miniscus and pain-free inside 2 weeks. I took 2 weeks off of work for the ACL, which is pretty standard, and only needed one. I had total range of motion and was pain free in about 2 months. I played division 1 baseball in college and felt good enough to play summer league in 3 months. At that point, I was feeling too good for my own good. After 3 months the tendon isn't strong enough for competitive sport and it drove me nuts not being able to play. So if I had one complaint about Dr. Deluca it was that he had me feeling too good too fast. I would also like to add that Dr. Deluca personally called me the night of both of my surgeries to tell me how it went and answer any questions I had for him. I urge anyone who needs orthopedic surgery to contact the Rothman Institute and ask for Dr. Deluca. He's the best of the best
