If you are Oriental, and want to do your eyes, pls go to Dr R Johnson. I was referred by someone who has Oriental eyes, and Dr R Johnson did an amazing job on her, too. After the Blepharoplasty surgery (on upper and lower eyes), I felt no discomfort and pain. It is now 3 months, and I feel so much prettier after my eyes surgery. Thanks to Dr Royce Johnson, for enhancing my eyes. I, also thank his nurses' phone calls, and reminders/explaination to me why I have to put medication on my eyes to prevent infection eventhough I felt no discomfort and pain. I truly recommend Dr. Royce Johnson highly for anyone who needs Blepharoplasty surgery.

This is the best Dr. ever that in my life could ever have. He made my surgery that change the rest of my life, Amazing person, not intelligent BRILLIANT, example to admire,wise person,good care of his patients. In my opinion there's is no word which i could discribe himm, AMAZING. If i could rate this doctor,i will rate him as the one of the best doctors in the present contemporany world.

The $125.00 was for the consult. I did not wait long at all to see the Dr. and he was very informative. I found him pleasant and his nurse the same. I am looking to have my eyelids lifted - one is lower than the other. Also have some the loose skin removed. I knew there would be a cost so was not surprised. I know Alberta Health used to cover the cost but learned that they have put restrictions on eyelid surgery to no surprise. I am now considering the surgery and I have no reservations about Dr. Johnson doing it. He was pleasant, helpful and so was his staff.

Dr. Johnson made an incredible difference for me. Although there is some tweaking to possibly be done, that is normal and I am sure it will happen soon. The swelling is gone, the coloring will soon be gone and it wasn't even a week ago that I had my surgery. Dr. Johnson and his nurse were incredible for keeping the pain to a minimum. Dr. Johnson kept me distracted with conversation with his nurse, and me. I would most definately recommend this gentleman, or gentle man, to anyone who requires eyelid surgery. I honestly feel that I received some of the best service ever from this Doctor and the staff in his office. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For a man who is on demand all of the time, with appointments and emergencies, your kind and gentle manner is greatly appreciated! I do not know how you handle the stress, but WOW, you are great! The supporting papers were extremely helpful too! My eyes never did turn very black thanks to the care advice.

I waited 45 minutes to be taken to a second waiting room. Once there, I waited again for 30 minutes and then saw the doctor who examined me for 10 minutes. The doctor was very rough and the eye examining machine was pushed into my open eyes three times without any apology from the doctor. He also came at me bullishly with eyedrops causing me to backup swiftly, never explaining what he was going to do so as I could understand. If I need surgery, I will absolutely search out a Gentle doctor.

Dr Royce Johnson is very knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. I almost lost my sight from Grave disese but Dr Johnson worked hard even when I almost lost hope. He encouraged me to hang in there. He has great knowledge in his field, but as with everyone else, it has its limits. He can get stumped. He is difficult to communicate with, and doesn't explain the outcome of what he does. He is rude, which makes it really hard to ask questions. He does seem really rushed, like he just doesn't have time for any questions really. But, if you have surgery by a doctor, any other doctor tells you to go back to the original doctor... who is rude, impatient and nasty.

After an accident in which my eyelid was injured, it healed with a small 'kink' in it and required minimal cosmetic surgery to correct. For reasons that were not explained to me, during the procedure this doctor, using donor flesh, padded areas in both eyes, causing them to be pushed back into my head. I noticed,immediately, a radical change in my vision and other problems. When I consulted him with my complaints and requested him to correct these, he lost his temper, stomped out of the room and refused to do anything about it. My gp told me to go back to him, but he wouldn't see me, though he wrote a nasty letter which I will be pleased to provide on request. The affect of this surgery is that my eyes are out of focus, continually very painful, including back in my head where it is like everything is squeezed. They are always blood shot, sensitive, and my vision is poor. The pain is sometimes unendurable. This dr. will not correct his errors. Nor will any other deal with it.

My experience with this very gifted doctor and his staff could not have been better. I have endured strabismus all my 50+ years of life regardless of numerous previous unsuccessful surgeries. I finally needed help, as my eyesight was giving me plenty of grief from being at a computer terminal as a larger part of my working day. Once I accessed Dr. Johnson, and his staff, they did the best they could to accomodate my unsual work schedule, and my needs. Dr Johnson himself was very kind with me, very clear and concise, as well as very honest with me. It gave me added resolve, and strength to take the risk to solve something I had lived with for 50+ long and unneccessary years. He was always kind, professional and even gave an indication of being prepared to go well beyond normal protocol to provide me with the success I am now very happy to have. My eyes are about 98%+ straight, and I can now work very long hours at my computer without excessive strain. I recoomend you trust in him.
