Dr. Shukoor is patient and compassionate. There are often wait times to see him, but that’s because he is such a great doctor and takes the time to understand your issues/concerns.

Kudos to the staff who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately Majid is not. He's boorish, rude and unexceptional as a doctor. I'm not sure if he should ever have been allowed to be registered as a doctor.

Questions to him will be answered back in as judgmental a way as possible. If you thought Dr. House had poor bedside manners, Majid would wins hands down. Except don't expect the same level of competency. If you wonder why I am comparing a real life doctor to a fictional one, the reason is that the fictional one seems more real and qualified as a doctor. In the age of AI, this doctor will be the first to be replaced, and his departure would be no loss to humanity.

Dr.Shukoor is a poor excuse of a human being. I visited his clinic as it’s close to my house and I needed painkillers after having cosmetic surgery. His response, I don’t prescribe pain killers here and your surgery was your choice you can deal with the consequences. I sat on the table and begged for anything, even T-3s and he asked me to leave and go to emergency. Keep in mind I waited in pain for 2 hours to see him. Eventually my blood pressure dropped and I was getting close to passing out from pain. They called the EMS in an attempt to get me out of there (I couldn’t walk from the incisions). The paramedics came and were absolutely disgusted in the way the doctor had refused to give me any medical attention on his premises. My blood oxygen levels and blood pressure had dropped so the paramedics walked me out and gave me proper medical attention. They rushed me to the hospital where they stayed beside me until I was taken care of by the doctor. These paramedics (Janelle, Sam and Mike) were absolutely amazing and helped me keep my mind off such a traumatizing situation. I warn everyone to stay away from such a selfish, uncompassionate joke of a doctor.

The staff are great but Dr shukoor is an absolute joke, my grandparents have been going to him for years so by my grandfather's request I continued to take them there, I took my grama in one day to see him and he left us waiting in a room for almost 2 hours, when I asked the staff where he was, they told me he had gone for lunch over an hour ago and didn't know why he wasn't back yet, this last time has really done it for me and I'm never taking my grandfather there again, I was told by this doctor that my grandfather is old and going to die soon because of his age and so I should just put him in a nursing home, I've now taken my 86 yr old grandfather there five times to get a paper filled out and every time is one excuse after another, Alberta health care has paid for 5 visits and still no medical filled, I was told today (monday) to come back Friday to pick it up. I should also mention my grandfather has copd so for him to go there once takes alot out of him, now it will be 6 times as of Friday, after that we won't return ever again.

I've seen this doctor a few times now and he always keeps you waiting extended periods of time. An hour wait is the quickest I've seen him in, usually it's about 2 hours. He is rude when speaking to you and doesn't listen to all the information you try and provide before he cuts you off and is out the door. My blood pressure was definitely higher after speaking with him than when I went in.

Always has my best interests at heart, I believe he saved my life by doing follow up on tests and referring me to specialists that determined I had had a heart attack and indeed needed a rush triple bypass.

I like Dr. Shukoor. I find him quite compassionate and thorough. I can understand why some think he's not compassionate as at first I thought he seemed abrupt, but when it comes right down to it, he's really caring. I went to him with depression and when I couldn't tolerate the antidepressant he put me on, he referred me to a psychiatrist so that I could get proper treatment and free counselling. He's sent me to the specialist a few times when he felt it was necessary. I also find him to be more punctual than the other doctors at that particular clinic, and I know that he is the one who is almost always there. I think he only has Sundays off, or he used to. He's there from when they open, usually all day, I think. He's often the one that's there on holidays.
