I have been seeing Dr Q. for probably 10 yrs and I would highly recommend her. She doesn’t have a staff but she has a msg system that works well. I’ve never had a msg lost or not gotten a call back when I needed. What I like about Dr Q is that she prescribes but also gets a feel for what’s going on in my life to gage my emotional status against the events. I see other talk therapists for those details, but she makes sure she’s got a feel for them. Other similar doctors I’ve seen in the past just prescribed and didn’t get a feel for what was going on. Also she doesn’t think feeling just ok is good enough. She will keep trying to get it right. She doesn’t just d/c one for another, she does more increasing dosage, or adding another med to help balance. I’ve been very happy with the results.

After three years of searching for the "right" psychiatrist, I began seeing Dr. Quarles one year ago. She is amazing. She is very thorough and thoughtful when it comes to prescribing medication. When one drug didn't work for me, she patiently listened to my concerns and worked with me until we found one that worked best for me. She is empathetic and will even return calls after normal office hours.
