Anyone who claims Dr. Suzanne wasn't or isn't (she may have retired) a GREAT doctor is in my humble opinion not giving this fabulous doctor her just due. The care she took with my now deceased mom (95 when she died) was nothing short of extraordinary. She looked after me and my two children (now adults) as well. My poor mom was devastated when the good doctor moved with her family to Victoria. None of us have been able to find her match again--not even close. This expert diagnostician should be cloned several times over. And OBTW, she also would make house calls if my mom was in too much pain to make it to her office on Lonsdale Ave., N. Van.--and this after an already hectic stressful day. Dr. Montemuro, you were a rock to our family. Just know we appreciated you so very much. And it's very clear from some of the comments from people who were her patients at her W.V.; then NV practices, we all heartily concur that she was and is the creme de la creme of family doctors !!!

Rating any doctor for punctuality is not helpful because emergencies occur--that's life. If anyone is giving a punctuality rating of 5, there's something wrong. In the case of Dr. Montemuro, I always believed if she was late, it was for good reason. Would never have occurred to me to think otherwise.

I waited 7 years to get in to see Dr. Montemuro in North Vancouver. I would give her 10 stars if it were possible.
She is not only extremely knowledgeable, but very intuitive. If you can communicate your symptoms effectively, 99% of the time she can instantly put her finger on the problem. immediately.
I would willingly travel to Victoria if I could get just one appointment to see her.
I have not met another Doctor (and I have seen many) that comes close to having her ability and caring. No, she doesn't linger and hold your hand...she gets the job done! I can fully understand she may be rushed, as most clinic doctors are expected to see many patients each day. You are lucky if you got in to see her. Possibly you are not aware of her credentials regarding menopause ?

Dr. Montemuro listens carefully, asks questions to make sure she has a thorough understanding of the problem, and is resourceful in finding solutions to complex medical issues. Over the many years I have seen her, I have found her to be extremely knowledgable, thorough, very caring and compassionate. Thank you Dr. Montemuro! (Punctuality can't really be rated since she works at a walk-in clinic… but how lucky we are to have her here!)

Insensitive and unkind without knowing it. Had her as a doctor in West Vancouver many years ago so shocked to find her here in Victoria. She stands out as a cold person, dismissive and lacking empathy.

Dr. Montemuro is fantastic. She is professional, thorough, and really listened to me. Some might find her manner a bit brisk but that clinic is very busy so I think it's warranted. Brisk, but not at all dismissive or careless. It's clear she is busy but she never rushed me out, and she always answers any questions I have.

She is an amazing doctor and I wish my daughter and I could have her as our regular doctor. But she only takes drop-in clients unfortunately. She is able diagnose things that others have missed and she explained how ear infections are caused to me which has helped me understand and prevent them in my young child. So nice and so knowledgable. Love her!

Dr. Montemuro was not only very rushed but also condescending. She was unclear with her directions and just walked out of the room as quickly as she could saying "I'm off now, I'm so glad to get out of here". Doesn't really make one want to go back.

I have seen her twice and found the experience very rushed, unthorough and unhelpful. I gave her the benefit of the doubt after the first time but after my second experience I was disappointed again. The first thing she said to me was "are you going to be quick?" so I already felt like I was an inconvenience. I left feeling completely unsatisfied. Sher might be a knowledgeable doctor but she has absolutely no time.... which shows.

Hot and cold. Sometimes dr. M is fantastic....compassionate, direct and through...and other times (seems to relate to how busy the clinic is that day)....abrupt, vague and less then helpful...I wish they had two doctors and she would be less rushed!
