replaced my aortic valve with a calf valve also did double bypass and looked after my in hospital caught infection. He is the best there is !

I would like to thank Dr Hirsch for the excellent treatment and care I received before, during and after my recent open heart surgery. It goes without saying that he is a skilled surgeon - but he is also a very caring individual who truly relates to his patients His communication is honest and direct, and he manages to put a positive slant on everything so that you feel safe. He was willing to take my case even though there were complicating factors. This has given me a chance at a life I wouldn't have had without this operation. Saying thank you just doesn't seem enough. I thoroughly recommend him. If you need heart surgery he's the best friend you're ever going to get.

Landed in Dr. Gregory Hirsch's care from out of province with a botched surgical procedure and a collapsed lung that had happened at my own hospital. You know when you've met the right doctor, when he gives you that firm but smooth handshake while looking right into your eyes and tells you that he is going to make everything right again. AND HE DID. Confident, talented, and with an awesome bedside manner, Dr. Hirsch sets the benchmark on what all doctors should strive for. I wish we had a thousand more like him! I have afib and had suffered couple of TIA events and so three years ago a loop monitor was installed in my chest. Met Dr. Hirsh for the first time the day of the extraction operation. He greeted me and was pleasant, taking time to explain what he was going to do, the techs who would be in the operating room and the problems that might occur as I am on medications and Xralto. After giving me time alone to think about going forward ( you can leave a loop in the chest even with a dead battery) Dr. Hirsh asked if I wanted to go ahead. He and his team did a great job and I was up and on my way. I would recommend Dr. Hirsh for cardiac work and would trust him with my surgery if and when required. He is straight up and explains the risk and benefits of your procedure. Many thnks
