This person needs to leave the profession. Her work cost me an additional surgery to clean up her mess. She acts like an authority on breast cancer and treatments. Stay in your own lane. To be told after have a mastectomy for DCIS that you have micro-invasions of cancer should not come from a plastic surgeon. She botched up my breast, leaving my expander close to my collarbone. In an attempt to cover her mistake she gave me my cancer results, booked an oncology appointment and told me I would need radiation and chemo. This was all done by her without consulting the breast surgeon. In her attempt to cover her huge error, she would proceed to have her office assistant call leaving me voice mails about my need for treatment, she also called my husbands work number to reiterate my need for treatment. She also screamed , shamed and belittled me for not listening to her cancer advice. She is not a cancer doctor. She is simply a plastics doctor who got through med school. She has made many grave errors and at that time tried to cover up her mess. Unfortunately , she is still practicing and does not get to wear her errors. I suspect the positive comments here are her best work after complaint after complaint . Her boss cleaned up her mess for me and due to her terrible work. There are many excellent plastic surgeons out there, why take a change on this butcher.

Simply the most ignorant person I’ve ever met in my life. Between her know it all comments to rolling her eye at legitimate questions. Do Not Get Surgery from this ignorant so called Dr!

I met with Dr. Musgrave for an assessment at her private clinic for the first time yesterday, Oct. 18/23. After reading a number of scathing reviews here (before my appt.) I was apprehensive about how the visit would go. Dr. Musgrave was absolutely amazing. Whipped me into exam room less than 2 minutes after arriving. Patient, kind, took her time with me, very knowledgeable and sympathetic. Within minutes, she accurately nailed what was wrong with me - something that a total of 4 previous doctors/specialists had been seemingly unable to do, and which confirmed what I had thought all along. (Note: I am relatively thin with an abdomen that looks literally 10 months pregnant). The diagnosis from previous doctors/specialists were 1) abdomen full of air (?!) 2) abdomen full of fluid (?!) 3) diastis recti and 4) needed to lose weight (??!!). Dr. Musgrave diagnosed an extremely large (and very dangerous) hernia which needs to be operated on as soon as possible. My abdominal wall muscles have split, and there is only a very thin layer of 'sheathing' holding my bowels/intestines in place - a ticking time bomb. I felt sheer relief after being examined and speaking with her, knowing that finally, the correct diagnosis has been made and that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Overall, Dr. Musgrave was amazing and I feel that I am in safe, competent hands.

Saw her for gender-affirming surgery in June 2023. Staff were respectful, and the post-operative recovery process has been far easier than I had thought. Results are aesthetically satisfying, and looks anatomically correct. Dr
Musgrave knows what she's doing. Very grateful!

Amazing surgeon and a fantastic advocate for patient agency.

I can't phantom the poor ratings that she has received as I was treated with nothing but kindness, respect and patience.

I will say follow up appointments have had substantial wait times (sometimes up to 2 hours) but given this was at a teaching hospital and trauma centre, I was expecting nothing less.

If you are referred, feel confident you will receive the best of care.

Very knowledgeable physician with very poor bedside manners. She doesn’t like answering questions and every time I ask her something the eye rolls I get are epic. She also likes to berate her patients both to their faces and behind their backs.

Had my first consult with Dr Musgrave today for delayed breast reconstruction after having a double mastectomy in 2021 due to breast cancer. I cannot say enough good things. I have had many really good doctors, of all different specialties, over the past nearly 3 years since my cancer diagnosis. However, none of the various specialists have ever made me feel more seen and understood a person than Dr Musgrave. I am excited for my surgery with her later this year.
