excellent had emergency surgury and Dr.Yip was very nice, explaining procedure and recovery expectations, follow up appointment on time and all is well

Dr. Yip has good bedside manner, but as far as being a knowlegable physician, I did not sse that the day I was there. Went to see him for what should have been a simple procedure as well as his specialized area (colonoscopy) and totally put me out of commision for about 4 months. He prescribed medication, to which he prescribed three times the amount. I took it over a long period of time, and it caused other long term major health problems. I understand you can have a bad day...no matter who you are, and according to this he can be a great Dr. but he deffinately didn't score any points with me.

Dr. Yip is a wonderful doctor and I am grateful for his professional manner and knowledgeable way of taking care of me. I was treated for anal cancer four year ago, and Dr. Yip keeps a close eye on me and keeps me healthy.

Dr Yip was incredibly human, listened and made fair decisions, not only based on my body's health but my mind as well. After 2 surgeries spread across 2 years i consider him my friend. After a long struggle with UC i was forced to face surgery as my final attempt at a solution. Dr Yip performed a total colectomy with a temporary ostomy and after 1.5 years a pelvic pouch procedure which all went off without any complications or extended hospital stays. At 30 years old its hard to face your bodies failures with surgery, however Dr Yip was extremely helpful and fair. I simply would not be here typing this without his help. Thank You.

Dr. Yip just operated on my 81 yr. old husband for a tumour of the colon. The patient has had many other medical problems so not an easy patient. Dr. Yip explained everything in detail, did a great operation, talked to us both after the surgery, visited the ward every morning with encouraging words. Just a great person.

Dr. Yip removed a large mass from my colon. Being this was my very first time having surgery in my 50 years of life, I was very scared.Dr. Yip explained everything in detail, was always there for me and made this terrifying experience as bearable as possible. I thank him from the very bottom of my heart
