Dr yip made me feel at ease and was very nice to me. He has a gentle touch and I felt very comfortable with him. Very happy to have met him.

Dr. Yip has been treating my mother in law for severe hemorrhoids and has done a marvelous job keeping her off the surgical table. She is 95 years old and can bleed to death from her condition, she had
blood transfusions to keep her going prior to getting into Dr. Yips office, we are very happy with the prompt service with his staff and Dr. Yip.

Doctor Yipp is often in a hurry. Dosen't seem to listen to all you have to say. You often have long waits to get in to see him.

I went to Dr. Benson Yip this afternoon for a assessment on my Pilonidal Abscess. Yip was extremely negative about the surgery in general, displayed minimal knowledge on the subject (He only even mentioned two procedural methods for this surgery, meanwhile there is more like 10), and he was inconsiderate of my feelings about a extremely touchy subject. Generally said, "This surgery will likely fail and leave you in pain or with a unhealing wound for the rest of your life", and that "I can do the procedure if you indeed feel the need to do it, but I don't reccomend it as it will likely worsen the situation". There are methods for this surgery that work successfully 99% of the time and he was preaching out-dated information like a broken record. I strongly advise not bothering with this doctor for a Pilonidal surgery, as his hugely substandard confidence and limited expertise in this procedure will likely make you choose a different surgeon anyway.

Dr.yip performed a very complicated surgery on me. Kept me and my wife very informed. Visited me in hospital to examine me and keep me in the loop. Very honest on my healing process and prognosis. Great staff assisting him aswell. Tells you like it is and gives honest aftercare advice.

Very caring Doctor who takes the time to explain things to you. Empathetic and gentle. I was his patient and he took excellent care. I wish more doctors were like him. Great Communicator. What a blessing! Thanks Dr.Yip. You are one of the best.

He performed both my surgeries. I am only 22 and he knew how much pain I was in so opted to do my first surgery earlier!!! Hes awesome, funny, smart. I told him i would take him out to a strip club and drinks on me after my surgeries but he knew i was joking. I am very happy and blessed that I got a great surgeon to do my surgeries (Ostomy and J pouch)

Dr Yip has been looking after me for the past 5 years or so and has been extremely helpful and has only used surgery as a last resort. I actually look forward to my visits with him.
