I find Dr. forgie the best heart surgeon. He did an emergency triple bybass on me and i would reommend him to anyone

Dr Forgie did my triple bypass July 2009 he and the nurses on 5B north did a great job while I was a patience there.I can't say enough about how professional they are.Great job.

Dr. Forgie did my triple bypass almost 2 years ago . He certainly new his work . My lung collapsed 2 days later & he fixed the problem right away , didn't waste any time . I will always admire him for that & his work . He gets right to the point ,which is the way it should be . If you don't like to be told the truth , then too bad !He came in at least twice a day and he answered all questions. Never in a hurry for a man of such stature . I thank God everyday for his work & prompt action . Keep up the good work Dr. Forgie .

My husband had his aortic valve replaced this past summer and Dr. Forgie was his surgeon. He is everything you want your surgeon to be: thorough, prudent, anal and particular. My husband's recovery did not follow the so-called routine path, however due to the diligence of his surgeon and Extra Mural nurses he is now doing much better. Can't say I enjoyed the short handed nursing staff though in the recovery unit. Maybe if he had been the usual patient who was in and out the experience would be better. The nursing care was sub-standard and says a lot about our system, not the nurses themselves.

Did successful cardiac bypass surgery on diabetic patient when previous cardiac doctor refused,stating poor risk. Highly recommend Dr Forgey.

Dr Rand Forgie is the heart surgeon who operated on me to replace my aortic valve with an artificial one. The operation was a complete success! I was treated like a millionaire by both Rand, his assistant who's name I unfortunately I forgot and the nurses on the cardiac ward - 3B South - we the very best in the world!!! All my questions both before and after the operation were answered in detail and I always felt I was the only patient Rand had. Thank you Rand - Life is good and I feel fantastic!!!
