Excellent surgeon. Completely knowledges and does invasive surgery which is great for recovery. His receptionist is the best. Always answers the phone and gets back to you when she says she will. They are a great team. Dr Johnston’s OR staff are as professional as he is.

This man saved my life, what a great doctor. His bed side manor was great, he didn't beat around the bush telling me how serious things were. Esophageal cancer was my surgery, he did a great job. Hopefully no one else has to meet him for the same reasons I did.

His receptionist is fabulous. Our appointment was on time, Dr. Johbston fully explained procedure, answered our questions, very, kind compassionate Dr. cares about his patients, great bedside manners, He exudes a quiet confidence which makes you feel confident in his abilities, and that you'll get great care. The worst! Made a crucial mistake during a surgery and patient suffered six month before being put into a coma and emergency surgery was done to save their life. Now with lungs so damaged will never live a normal life.

Great bed side manors. Your not afraid to ask questions as he put you at ease. I felt confidence in him. He is a people person beside a doctor and that is rare. His staff was wonderful too.

Just a wonderful experience Dr BJ and recept Jan both supported me when I needed it most.Both were very professional .I felt both were there for me when I had Lung cancer.if I meet them out in the community they always ask how I'm doing etc.

I was in very bad shape with end stage achalasia and Dr. Johnston recognized that action was required urgently and he quickly had me in OR where he performed an esophogectomy allowing me take on solid foods and my weight is now +45 up from my previous open weight....knowledgeable and very professional.
