Dr. Ripley was recommended by my sister. My husband's blood pressure was running unusually high and we chose to seek a regular doctor for him. I called and called and could not get through to Dr. Ripley's office, so we decided to just stop by the office. The receptionist was completely cold and told us the first appointment they had open for a new patient was 2 months later. My husband said "Ok..if I am still alive then" with no response from the receptionist. We have decided not to go to this doctor and have tried to call to cancel the appointment, but it is impossible to get in touch with them. I would think that at an doctor's office if someone comes in and says there blood pressure is usually high, they would at the very least give some tips on lowering blood pressure... or possibly have a nurse take their blood pressure to ensure it is not an emergency case!

Dr Ripley is a wonderful, caring, smart, and knowledgeable Doctor! He takes his time to listen and to talk to you. He does not just run you out. My family would not change him for any other Doctor unless referred by him!

Dr. Ripley is very knowledgable, but his staff is not. The phones are not answered in a timely manner and when I could not get through on the telephone, I drove to the office only to be told that he could not "squeeze" me in and when I asked if I should just go to the emergency room, the staff just shrugged. This was at 9:30 in the morning. I did visit the urgent care.

He tried to be helpful, but I had to wait 40 minutes for both appointments I had. No apology and became defensive about the wait. When I did get a chance to speak with him, his solution was to push medications without listening to my concerns. I have since moved to another doctor.

GOOD DOCTOR. He will listen to you and is empathetic. He is organized and intelligent and remembers who you are and what your concerns are. His office and staff are helpful and efficient when you call and have a question or need a refill called in. His office is pleasant, although it seems they are always full and really really busy now, so be prepared to be put on hold immediately if you call. However, Dr. Ripley does not let this make him rushed like most doctors. You will feel that he will take the time for you.
