I can not say enough good things about this man! He's been with my daughter since the delivery room and has been incredible. Hes thorough with his patients, going into every detail to make sure nothings missed. Overall he cares immensely about his babies and makes great suggestions for their development while maintaining a calm demeanour. My baby was born prematurely and some of our doctors have painted a negative picture of her development. Dr Horvath has simply stated facts and helped keep us going in the right direction. I'd highly recommend him.

I have read all the reviews and if you see the negative ones those parents/parent does not understand how this man works. DR. Horvath WORKS OUT OF TWO HOSPITALS AND HIS OFFICE!

We have been with him for 17 years, from when my son was in Langley emergency at 1 month old to now and until we can no longer see him.

If you see him yawning it’s probably because he has been going back and forth delivering babies to seeing very sick babies and children in the hospital that need him right away and has not had a break and has worked overtime.

If he is late to his appointments you should understand why because he is VERY VERY Thorough! And will look at a hexagon of all sides not just a square. And he will never cut your time short because he is late.

If he looks at his watch or pager or has to call or gets a call on his phone, it’s always to do with an emergency or the hospital needs a option on a sick child and he is not present to do it because he is in his office with your child who is NOT in a emergency need of anything right at that moment. You will get your answers you want he needs to make sure he is not going to guess and say here is your answer.

Dr. Horvath is straight to the point when he asks you a question he needs a clear answer and if you don’t know just ask him to say it to you in a different way or say I am not sure.

I don’t know him on a personal level, I got to know him from my son being his patient. Please don’t take the negative reviews as omg he is a monster. As a parent I want someone who is very dedicated to their job and not look at my child as just a number and money, like many other paediatricians.

Dr. Horvath spent over an hour with our daughter. He got down on the floor with her and interacted with her. His input and observations were helpful and kind. This man is one of the best doctors I know.

Dr. Horvath is extremely thorough...which is why, I think, he's often behind. I personally find his thoroughness a nice change after being herded through so many clinics when they can't be bothered to give you more than 5 minutes. He has helped my daughter and I'm thankful to have found him.

He seems irritable and cold/distant. Having said that Dr. Horvath's main Receptionist, Nicole, is not like that at all. She seems very kind and caring. It seems like Dr. Horvath would rather not be challenged and do some research, trying to fit pieces of a problem together. It's like he would like other doctors to figure things out so he doesn't have to. He tends to act very abrupt when he's not happy with things that he's confused about or if things don't go his away. Additionally, Dr. Horvath seems great at communicating with parents but not so much with patients (at least the shy ones anyhow). The location of his clinic is good though in the sense that it's central for all of Langley. If you are going to consider trying Dr. Horvath just be aware that he can be 30+ minutes late.

Dr Horvath has been my kids’ pediatrician for almost ten years. He is very thorough and asks many questions. He interacts with my kids to ask them what they like in school, how they’re feeling, their interests and if they have any pain. I love that he involves the kids and asks them questions. I love that he is very thorough and wants surveys done by the Children’s teachers, in order to better our children and provide the help they need. My son is autistic and has ADHD, which we have tried not to give him any medication, but now that he’s a bit older, we realized that Dr Horvath was right and knowledgeable, as he knows better and knows we can help our child especially during school. We just had our third baby, and let Dr Horvath know, in which he stated to get a referral so he could see her too. And my two older children were born at 26 weeks. My youngest at 36 weeks.

Dr. Horvath is a phenomenal doctor. He isn't there to chit chat and have a fluffy conversation with you, he is there to help diagnose and solve the problem(s) at hand. He is genuinely concerned for your health (or the health of your little one!!) and provides you with the information necessary to prevent recurrences and/or temporary solutions until the issue can be resolved. Highly recommend.

He was my sons pediatrician at the ER and cared for him intil he was discharged from the hospital. He did an awesome job.

We have been patients for four years. He is amazing until you question him. He has aggressively reprimanded me twice for asking for options regarding my son's treatment. He is up to an hour late each appointment. If you complain you are met with attitude from both him and his assistant. He is also not willing to cooperate with other agencies like schools, specialists, therapists.

Very thorough and took time to understand fully all details and get to know my daughter - remembered our last interaction from 8 years ago. Made recommendations but also very committed to fully researching all angles. Valuable doctor.
