Arrival by ambulance, geriatric fall, approx 7pm, sent to waiting room to wait at 7:15, was not sent back to emergency room treatment area until 12:57, waited approx two more hours before seeing a doctor. By this time the only thing done was gauze and and vitals taken. No RN either only a fairly useless student nurse. No pain medication or treatment for shock - because no one was helping. Finally saw doctor around 2:30 am, needed X-ray and ct scan, happened about 30 min later, doctor comes back at 3:45 am and discharges. Approx 8.5 hours. Now some may say it was precautionary or they were watching to see if anything going on during that time, but in order for that to be believable someone would have checked in that approx 6 hour period - and no one did. Nothing. Worst hospital it was disgusting an deplorable. If you need emergency services go anywhere else but here. Put yourself in a taxi and go to a real hospital. Worst staff, worst nurses, worst care. Absolutely disgusted. Completely incompetent and useless staff. No kidding - worst hospital in lowainland or Fraser valley.

Worst hospital ever left my baby with pneumonia for 7 hours and they told me to go to another hospital with a 102 fever that lasted almost 10 days . Rediculous to say the least . We ended up going to children's hospital where he was diagnosed and treated properly ended up having to go back into emerg with him and the same stuff . Yes I understand the wait times but for a child with a high fever and breathing problems get you act together Langley . Do not bring your very ill children anywhere near this hospital

For free ER service I guess the customer service or at least half descent people you won't find at the Langley ER. Everyone is rude. I even witness while waiting staff talk about the patients. I couldn't believe it.

I've lived in Langley for many years and I've experienced the services offered at L.M.H. both with family members and my own personal experience through elective and emergency surgeries. Some of the staff are very nice, helpful and maintain a professional deameanour but some not so much. To go into specifics would take too much time and space but suffice to say that I think most of the negatives come from being very short staffed and overworked people. The facility is dirty, overcrowded and not an overly friendly environment. On a recent visit to get pre-admission lab work done, I found myself to be number 17 in line to have a blood test. The lone lab tech walked into the waiting area shortly after I sat down and advised the clerk that she was leaving for a break. No alternative technician came to relieve the workload and we all sat waiting our turn. Phone calls to different departments are seldom answered and voice mailboxes are often full negating the ability to leave a message. When a message can be left, I have yet to get a return call. Langley Memorial Hospital appears to be the poster child for the malaise and troubles that infect the Fraser Health Authority. LHH should be avoided if at all possible. I feel sorry for those dedicated , compassionate staff that have to work there .

This is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever spent any time in. Filthy, nurses in the north surgical wards were lazy and rude...waited 8 hours for pain meds after surgeryl

Severe wait times for the emergency room. I am wondering if there are any doctors working. Almost at the 5 hrs mark. Ridiculous
