I thought that Dr. Steed was great the first time that I saw him but when I had my miscarriage it was a different story. He did not come and talk to me after my d and c and did not follow up like he promised. A total change of character. Now I can see what my sister was talking...he was her ob/gyn....

Dr Steed is fantastic. At first, i was a bit unsure of him - thought he was a little quiet. But after a few visits, he had me bent over in laughter. Great bedside manner. I had a few "challenges" with my labour, but he checked on me very regularly making sure i received the proper tests, etc. But also made sure they weren't doing too many things that were unnecessary. Am very glad I had Dr steed for my first and hope to have him again for another!

Dr.Steed is a very kind carin doctor that also has a sense of humour.I think any patient would be lucky to have him and his team.

Dr. Steed has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever dealt with. He is the least intimadating and therefore approachable dr. I've ever had. When it's your turn to see him, he acts as if you are the only patient there...never rushes you or makes you feel like time is a ticking. Myra is sensational as his nurse and Lorrie (receptionist) is amazing as well. My second pregnancy with them and I would not go to anyone else. Highly recommend this team. Can't say enough!!! (My husband says "ditto"!)

Dr Steed and his staff are amazing, his wait time is to be expected as he spends the time with you to answer your questions. He will even phone you instead of having you come into his office a very rare trait. It helps that he has an excellant support staff that protect him from getting overbooked. I would highly recomend him. Thank you.

Where can I begin in regards to Dr Steed and his team....EXCELLENT!! I had an extremely high risk pg and Dr.Steed was with me from 16weeks on, seeing me at least every 2 weeks but often each and every week. He was so supportive and took time to answer my questions. My condition was not one that Dr. Steed (or any of the Dr's in Calgary) had experienced, but he took the time to meet with other Dr's and researched on the internet to find most appropriate treatments to ensure the safe arrival of my daughter. I felt he really listened and also for the most part trusted my instincts (whether to be in hospital or home in bed). I did find Dr. Steed quiet some time but he can be quite witty and funny.

Dr Steed was an amazing physician during my pregnancy. He delievered my 1st baby by emerg csection. He was so so amazing that I went to him as my obs dr for my second pregnancy. I do not do well with pregnancies, and he was understading, empathic and very helpful with all of our questions. Myra (his nurse) and Laurie (his receptionist) are also the best there is! If you can have this team as your caregivers, then consider yourself one lucky and blessed person.

I had a terrible first pg. I was referred to dr. steed for my 2nd and I immediately felt at ease. He showed the proper amount of concern for my medical condition and how it affected my pg. I wish he would have communicated with me a bit better, but he knew what he was doing no doubt about it.

Dr. Steed was an excellent doctor for handling my pregnancy. I felt very comfortable with him and did my best to try and have my baby on a day he was on call at the hospital so he could deliver for me as well. I usually don't feel comfortable with male doctors, but he put me at ease the moment I met him. I would definitely go to him were I to become pregnant again. Sometimes I had to wait a bit for my appt, but in what doctor's office do you not have to wait these days?
