Dr. Yeates is a consummate professional with empathetic listening and determined diagnosis and treatment of my 9 months of pain caused by 4 sources.
After 7 doctors had failed to diagnose my problems, it was a relief to have a complete diagnosis and pain relief. And Dr. Yeates actually cares for her patient's wellbeing.

I have been seeing Dr. Yeates for 9’years now, and couldn’t recommend a more caring, gentle Doctor. Dr. Yeates shows compassion, understanding and follows through with her patience.
I place full trust with this remarkable Doctor.
Many of my former colleagues also had Doctor Yeates during their pregnancies and all raved about her attentiveness toward their individual medical circumstances.

I suspect Dr. Yeates knows nothing about anything related to women's gynaecology other than delivering babies. I went to her with severe vaginal infections that traditional medicine does clear up. She gave me several test kits and told me to administer the tests to myself and bring in the specimens whenever I had an infection. I told her I had two severe infections 2x a year. Apparently the test swabs had an expiry date on them and the lab just threw them in the garbage instead of analyzing them. No phone call ever to tell me that the lab was doing this. I was then told after taking all 5 tests and the urine sample that I had to get a new referral from my doctor to see Dr Yeates again. This makes no sense. If these test kits had an expiry date, why was I not told this? And why was there never any phone call to let me know that I needed new test kits and the lab was just throwing my specimens in the garbage. At least one of the staff should have called me to let me know. What kind of doctors office is this? She should just be considered a doctor who delivers babies and nothing else, but then again a midwife can do this.

I absolutely love this office! Dr Yeates goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I had so many questions and she answered them all. She did not make me feel rushed at all. Also the front staff are friendly and always make you feel welcomed. I read a comment about them and find it hard to believe as I have never had any issues with either of them. I had a miscarriage last year and just recently became pregnant again. I call probably once a week as I’m so nervous and they have never made me feel bad. I think the past two years have been hard on everyone especially for healthcare workers/staff who have never stopped taking care of people. I can’t even imagine. So all I can say is thank you :)

Their one receptionist in the office, Elizabeth. I called last week to ask for a requisition to get a dating ultrasound. I was told Dr Yeates was on her holiday during the time I called. Which is fine. I was told call back next week. So I did, today. Receptionist (Elizabeth) answers the phone. I say “I know she is back this week, wondering if she could get me a requisition when she gets the chance” The receptionist says “ Dr. Yeates is on call this week. She won’t be able to get to all her paperwork. You spoke to flora last week about this, I don’t know why you are calling us again about it. Flora left a message for dr yeates to order you a dating scan. She will get to it when she can.”

Me “Flora did not mention she was leaving her a message about this. All she said to me was Dr Yeates is not in office for a week, call back next week”

“I don’t know why you are calling us again”. Are you serious? I am appalled with this receptionist as she made me feel as though I’m not aloud to advocate for myself. I have never in my life cried after a phone call with a professional office like this. She made me feel like I’m not aloud to ask for help or check in with things. Made me feel like I’m not important, just another little patient in their office.

If you plan to call and follow up on anything, just be prepared you may speak with this receptionist and be treated poorly. Extremely rude individual.

Dr yeates is incredible. She followed my pregnancy every step of the way after a miscarriage and struggles with infertility. After having 3rd trimester high blood pressure I had to give birth early in orillia and wasn’t able to have our baby delivered in collingwood. I Thank Gillian for her expertise and hope that our next baby can be delivered by her :)

I met dr.Yeates 3 years ago, and she did not do any exams on me only read my files I was suicidal 3 times because of pain in low pelvic areas .constent UTI, and a yeast infection so she dismissed me. After she contacted my urologist she performs the surgery she was nice as a person but she has very limited advice to offer and now she does not want to see me because I ask for a hysterectomy meaby this could help me. She refused, and now the receptionist does not answer my phone. I read that doctors have the right not to see patients. If someone has a problem with doctors I advise you to watch the program on CTV news W5 about doctors. I plan to go to my original country to be diagnosed in Canada doctors, are limited with the procedures.
