My mom had 2 surgeries with her and she made it worse each time. Finally she referred my mom to a Dr in Toronto and so fixed the mistakes Dr Yeates did. She also didn’t have good bedside manners towards my mom or myself. I wasn’t impressed with her or what she did to my mom.

Dr Yeates has been nothing but amazing through my entire pregnancy. My husband and I struggled with getting pregnant and was referred to an excellent doctor in the City where we managed to conceive finally doing IVF. As soon as I was discharged from my fertility clinic, I knew I wanted to continue with Dr Yeates. I started my appointments with Dr Yeates rather early in the pregnancy. She is extremely thorough and for this being my first pregnancy, she has made me feel very comfortable and extremely patient with my many questions. I would highly recommend Dr Yeates and only hope I get her on the day I go into labour.

I had a great experience with Dr. Yeates. She volunteered to come see me in the emergency room the day I had my miscarriage and sat with me for some time which made me feel a lot better about the situation. I had a follow up appointment with her two weeks later and she was compassionate, caring and empathetic ( despite the fact that I KNOW she sees miscarriages every day). Would highly recommend her.

My Girlfriend and I were referred to Dr. Yeats by a coworker of hers when we found out we were expecting. We scheduled an appointment, but after reading some of the reviews left by others, we did not know what to expect from her.

We had our first appointment, and were very pleased! Many other people have mentioned a strange "belittling" attitude, but we were welcomed into a beautiful practice by the receptionist, and proceeded to have a pleasant visit with the doctor. She seems to truly care, as there was no misinformation or persuasion to prescribe drugs. A great health care professional!

On a personal level, it was a very friendly visit and not a spec of animosity or arrogance was felt, as some other reviews might suggest. My girlfriend and I felt very welcome and we feel that there will be more great experience in the future!

I was referred to Dr. Yeates as my husband and I were trying to conceive. Previous to the appointment I had taken some hormone tests that revealed I was very low in progesterone. During the appointment Dr. Yeates talked down to me, was horribly rude and made me feel like I had no place asking ‘her’ for help. She made me feel ashamed when I told her my progesterone level was very low - because she overwhelmingly told me that progesterone has nothing to do with pregnancy. (??) she was the worst physician I’ve ever met -

Dr Yeates is an amazing Dr. I highly recommend her. She has been seeing my daughter. My daughter has been going thru a tough time with her pregnancy and found out today she had a miscarriage and Dr Yeates took her Time to go thru everything with her and made sure she Was ok and understood everything. She made both of us feel
Better. She’s a very caring Doctor. I would highly recommend her.

Saw her in the emergency room due to first trimester bleeding. Not only did she opt to not remove the IUD I had in whilst pregnant which I later learned was AGAINST current medical policies, she spoke about me and my situation as if I wasn't even in the room. I saw the other two doctors at her practice and was horrified at the service I was given. Saw another OB through the rest of my pregnancy and he reinforced that the experiences I had were not acceptable. I had a great pregnancy thanks to him.

Dr Yeates performed a double ovarian cyst removal on me and did a fantastic job. She is very professional and was very informative about the surgery, pre-op and post-op. She came to visit in the hopsital and was very attentive. I would highly recommend her. As a young (under 30) patient, this is a rare occurrence but she did a great job!

Worst appointment every....please please have your doctor refer you to someone in Barrie. Went to see her and all that was done was pushing and pushing the IUD birth control. My issues was never looked into or dealt with.
