Biography

Claudio Guareschi, M.D., is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery, a physician practice of Self Regional Healthcare. Dr. Guareschi received his undergraduate degree from Liceo Scientifico “Cannizzaro” in Rome, Italy and his medical degree from the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, Italy. He completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai in New York, N.Y., where he served as chief resident. He completed his thoracic surgery residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Guareschi is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. In his spare time he enjoys photography and time with his family.
