Very helpful at first, but took a long time to diagnose my problem. After seeing her for two years, I got started on new expensive drug. After startingon this treatment, she promtly quit being a rheumatologist, without referring me to a new one. I was left in the dark for three months before finding another specialist. A frightening time of my life, and left hanging by a doctor who is sopposed to help me, not abandon me

after waiting to see her and finding her very helpful, she decided to change her specialty(after only the first visit), leaving us to get a new referral from GP only to wait again for another specialist. Felt as though we had been left out in the cold. Did she not know before accepting a referral that she would be changing her specialty? She could have saved us much time and heartache by not accepting new patients when she must have known that she was only going to abandon them. Does this not reflect on her professionalism and her commitment to her patients? Felt as though we have been led down the garden path and abandoned. Now we are waiting to be seen by another rheumatologist after numerous blood tests and screenings as required. Looks as though her patients time and health are not as important as her advancements. Hope this is not a reflection of our medical community

she is a Godsend for me, she is so personable and warm and caring, I can't understand the negative comments posted by others. She is always on time and so friendly and understanding. She was the first doctor to accurately diagnose and treat me and has literally changed my life by helping me to finally function without pain. She's always smiling and gentle and genuinely cares about her patients and wants you to have be able to get the most enjoyment out of life that you can. I am so thankful that I was referred to her. She even has a special nurse that calls to see how you are doing and that you can call anytime you have any questions or concerns. SHe also got me into physio/occ health right away. I have been nothing but impressed with her.

Every time I left her office I felt even worse and more confused. She did not listen to anything that I said, and tried to push me to take medications that I was not comfortable with and did not fit my lifestyle, telling me that it was the only option. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and left her office numerous times in tears about my condition and the way I was treated by her. She did not inform me about any of the medication that she prescribed me, and I ended up getting worse and not better. I felt belittled and ignored; seeing her was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

I was seriously ill and needing help including a doctors note to excuse me from work. She told me that there is no cure for my illness and rather than being a burden on society she wanting be back to work. I negotiated 1 month off with the condition that I went to physiotherapy. I became more sick and had increased pain. I found an excellent doctor by months end and was properly treated. I haven't been able to work since and continue to be semi bedridden. She was horribly rude saying what she did and had no empathy for the state of my health. She knew nothing about my illness either, yet that is suppose to be a rhematologists specialty. She shouldn't be practising medicine since their oath is to do no harm. She harmed me physically and emotionally.

she was excellent and was very thorough in her examination. I felt very lucky to be referred to her. I felt as though I might finally receive the help I so desperately need.
