Great doctor, very professional and caring. He was a few minutes late but otherwise I consider that on time too. I have no complaints and very happy to have him as my Doctor.

Dr Edora does not seem particularly interested. I went in for annual check up and had a pap smear. That's it. No blood pressure check, breast exam, anything else. On a few other occasions, I was referred directly to a specialist. No diagnostic tests/x-rays were ordered first. So I waited a few months to see the specialist who then ordered x-rays before he was able to do anything. When I saw Dr Edora following the visit to the specialist, he never once asked how things went or if the problem was resolved.

On my first visit to Dr. Edora for a regular pap smear, he seemed confused and sent me to a gyno guy. The specialist then did the smear and asked "Why are you here?" Edora is not too familiar with female organs after training in the army. Then a few months later I got sick. I felt like throwing up for months. Dropped alot of weight (which was good). He diagnosed me with matastized cancer of the liver. Me and my family went through hell preparing for my death. Turns out I had a flu with some congenital defects to my liver that where not a problem. He should never have said that I had terminal cancer until there was a clear diagnoses.

Dr. Edora is excellent, thoroughly professional. But trying to make an appointment with him is difficult as his staff has not yet figured out that voicemail exists and the line is busy most of the time during the day.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'd like to endorse the theme coming from the other posters. Dr Edora is an excellent listener. He also doesn't "talk down" to his patients but treats them with respect. I say "them" because I've spoken with some of his other patients and we all agree he's an excellent family doctor.

Phil is a great guy. Good listener, compassionate, sense of humour, makes very sound referrals. I was in hospital and he dropped in to see me entirely unexpectedly, which was very thoughtful of him.

A considerate, kind and compassionate doctor. Listens carefully to what you are saying, has the compassion to remember what you came in for on your last visit. Gentle and thoughtful.
