I’ve been with Dr. Penno for 6 years now and have never received anything but exceptional care. She has always been very polite and friendly at every appointment. If you are looking for an eye specialist I would highly recommend Dr. Penno.

I’ve been with Dr. Anderson Penno for 14 years. Very straightforward and knowledgeable from day 1. She takes time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. I’m very grateful that my entire family are under her care. The best eye specialist you would look for. Highly recommended!

My husband & I have always had great service. Staff friendly & professional. Both Dr Nolan and Dr Penno thorough and gentle and explain everything in terms we understand. My husband had a "secondary cataract" in one eye and Dr Penno fixed it very quickly with great results. Highly recommend this clinic!

I found her bedside manner to be lacking. Always in a hurry. Doesnt seem to have time to answer questions or talk about issues further. Just didnt seem to be all that interested. I would consider finding another eye specialist if you could.

This was the best eye exam I've ever received. She is the most knowledgeable eye doctor that I have visited. Answered any and all questions I had prepared for the exam. Best eye doctor in Calgary and possibly in all of Canada.

This was by far the most comprehensive eye exam i have received. I asked my MD to refer me to someone other than where i was going as I was not getting answers, just more drops. Dr. Penno took the time to explain what was going on, offer some suggestions on how I could manage the issue and provide information on optional treatment. No rush, great office staff , straight answers, no repeat visits required. If I choose to look at options, it will be arranged, otherwise, return in a year for a regular eye exam. Straight goods, no nonsense. That’s what i went for and that’s what I got. Great

People need to understand that they are seeing an MD when they come here. She is incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. She doesn’t waste time and is very straight to the point. If you have a medical emergency and need treatment she will be the one to diagnose the problem, possibly treat the problem or refer you for treatment. If you want to be coddled and emotionally pampered this is not your physician. Thank you Dr. Penno, you have always been thorough, professional, and effective. Dr. Nowlan has also been incredible. Keep doing what you do and don’t listen to these other reviews where people talk about you being curt. Continue providing top notch medical care!
