Dr Anderson Penno is extremely curt and gives the impression that one is a nuisance. Her staff was fine, with tests performed in a timely manner but the wait until the doctor gets around to you is unacceptable. Dialiation does not take over an hour but she makes a patient wait at least that long. Today was one hour fifteen minutes.

I couldn't care less about how friendly or happy or sympathetic or concerned or polite the staff are or even the doctor is. And I can fully appreciate how overworked the Doctor is every day, so I am not surprised she is more often late than not on her appointments, I'm happy to wait all day for her time and expert examination. I want a no-nonsense, adult, medical environment with a no-punches-held doctor who knows what the not-heaven they are doing. If I want my mother, I'll call her. If I want an opthamologist that is probably among the top ten experienced, knowledgeable doctors in Canada, I'll be parked at her clinic doorstep at 6am. In 30 years, doctors spanning across Canada from Vancouver to Edmonton to Calgary to Toronto to Ottawa to Halifax - not one was able to diagnose the source my crippling migraines to a pituitary tumor. It took Dr. Penno less than 5 minutes of examination to determine I had a tumor and required immediate surgery. Three weeks later and 4 hours of surgery and the tumor was successfully removed - my eyesight restored from 50% vision to 95+%. Thank you, Dr. Penno, for saving my vision and my life.

My husband & I found the staff efficient & friendly. Dr Penno professional and helped my husband with a quick surgery that he said improved his vision in that eye "100 percent." I found the technicians and optometrist very friendly & professional. We highly recommend this small but relaxing & helpful clinic, doctor & staff.

After being seen by a few doctors, no one could tell me why I was having daily migraines and double vision- Dr Nowlan and Dr Anderson Penno were finally able to give me a diagnosis and provide treatment. I'm very grateful to have been given such good care. Would highly recommend.

Staff was friendly & efficient. The tech was very patient with me as I am a very fidgety patient (don't like anything near my eyes) Doctor Penno is obviously very well-trained & knowledgeable, but I appreciate that she didn't talk down to me while explaining what was going on with my eyesight.

I was on time waited 2 hours
no greeting or any appplogy , awful bedside manner total time with her under 5 minutes , lady who instilled drops in my eyes does not fit for this job , could not understood my medication and spilled drops on my face and said they bounced back

I am very happy with my experience at Dr. Penno's clinic. The technicians were very friendly and attentive and Dr. Penno has a genuine passion for her work and helping her patients. I felt I was in the best hands and would recommend her any day.

I am very happy to have her as my ophthalmologist as I am a type I diabetic and am starting to have various eye problems. She is very friendly and professional and, most importantly, she is very knowledgeable and an excellent doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Anderson Penno since I was 18 (I'm 25 now) for a chronic issue, and although I know my eyes will probably give me bigger issues in the future... I am so glad she is the one looking at them now
