Dr. Babins was dismissive of my pain and the continuous issues I was having due to an injury. What started as a twisted ankle turned to a chronic cartilage defect that might not even be completely healed with surgery. He was very arrogant and would refuse to refer me to a surgeon. Instead he would insist on injections that I would have to pay for out of pocket. Dr. Babins' inaction made my injury much worse and delayed my treatment by almost 2 years. His staff was also not friendly and quite rude. I recommend seeing another doctor.

Helpful when he wants to be, I have gone back to him several times and he constantly tells me the same thing with no feedback on how to improve. I've had about three apointments with him and not only is he hard to get in with, he is also just not the most helpful doctor there is, and I have better things to do with my time, especially when my health is decreasing and my pain is increasing.

Dr. Babins did my son's circumcision. He was quick, careful and explained everything beforehand. He even texted me that night to make sure my baby was doing well. The next day, he was leaving to go on holiday, but assured me that I could still reach out to him if needed. As it turned out, I had a mom-panic moment a week later and contacted him during his vacation. He texted me back with a solution within minutes and insisted I keep him in the loop. This is a guy who truly became a doctor because he wanted to help people. Highly recommend!

Dr. Babins did my Vasectomy - he's informed, thorough, and I don't think there's a doctor in Calgary who could do a better job. He took care of everything and even phoned to see that I was fine the following day. Seriously - this doctor goes above and beyond.

Dr. Babins was very attentive to my situation and discussed the possibilities of my diagnosis as it was a complex case. He didn't want to rush my referral to the surgeon in the event that it could be resolved without surgery. Once it was apparent that surgery was needed he was prompt to ensure a surgeon saw me in a timely fashion. He had residents in with him each time I had an appointment, they are learning from the best! I highly recommend Dr. Babins and his office.

Too busy teaching residents to actually spend time with you and review your case.

Can't read MRI imaging, strictly relys on a radiologist reports.

Very dismissive and appears to not be invested in helping me.

Does not take my pain seriously.

Gave me very little information.

Named my kid after him he's awesome he delivered all my kids and he was just an AWSOME doctor..had his wife in the delivery room as well..

Had a vasectomy done by Dr. Babins. I was nervous as heck so to speak as I would think any guy would be. Dr. B from beginning to end was great. Made me feel very comfortable just by simply talking to me through out the entire procedure. Told me what to expect during as well as offered his personal cell in case anything abnormal was to happen after. Not to many Dr's out there that i know would do that. Trust your balls with this guy....he's good!

Upon moving here from the USA I "interviewed" Eric to see if I wanted to have him as my Doctor.. I know it was the first time he experienced that and he got a kick out of it. He has been my Doc ever since and now sees my twin 16 year old boys. As another poster on this site said, Eric is no nonsense and fully expects you to be his partner in your health journey. An excellent, knowledgeable Physician with a great sense of humor! This is exactly what I was looking for 17 years ago and what I will miss when he retires!
