This is my second go around with him, 2 1/2 years apart. I have found him to be very kind and concerned. No problems with his staff at all, very friendly and professional.

Waste of time and tax $$. So many follow up appointments for my Mother and ultimately had to find new Dr. Fast forward visit with new Dr and one surgery already performed and 2nd already booked. Should be investigated by government for over billing.

Dr. Demco dedicates longer hours and more days to his work than any other medical professional I've seen. I've read in comments that repeat visits can feel like a waste of time, and the waiting once you're there is excessive. I have a progressive eye condition, analyzing photos of the back of my eyes, takes time time and isn't something to be done during appointment hours - which makes for repeat appointments. I'm grateful for the easy availability of repeat appointments. - can be pretty rare in our medical system. Parking is insane and expensive, there is waiting, no question, but when isn't there? I have a lot of confidence in this doctor.

Oh my god! The worst doctors office I’ve ever visited. Insulted my doctor referred me here! What a complete and utter waste of time. Tech asked to look someone up on my Spotify who had her block??

Before I saw him, I could see well with my eye. Two visits later, a cloud crept down over my eye--end of sight that eye. He should have his license to practice cancelled.

My 11:30 appt became a 2:30, having been already resched. from a Wed. to a Fri. I knew sth. was amiss when the (sweet) recep. was too well practiced in the art of assuaging patients made to wait and rebook b/c the office has no means/will to keep an organized practice. I'm not re-enabling this place to continue its ways, not on my time.

Others have said so here, and I'll reiterate another prob. The doc wants to work in repeat visits, not for patients but for his practice. The same goes for redundant tests he encourages one to take. Those diagnostics are billed to the state and are a healthy source of profit for the office. There is no sense in retaking tests prev. issued by another practice just some months earlier.

As I waited to be belatedly shuffled into the doc's office from triage, I set a walk-out time limit of 2:30 when I'd exit on grounds of being messed with too much by this practice. It barely managed to get recep. in b/f that pt.

Finally in the patient's chair, I could detect degrees of selfish motivation on the doc's part to passively 'monitor,' with requisite follow-ups, an eye condit. causing me immed. discomfort. On hearing this fishy line, I realized the motivation to find eyecare elsewhere.

Two visits, both running two hours late. Two hours! Didn't warn about eye drops so couldn't drive home. Makes excuses for you to come back over and over for each separate test when clearly with a bit of organizations several tests could be done at the same visit. Will not return. Want to put 0 stars. Avoid! Have requested referral to another doctor.

Most bizarre medical appointment (or complete lack there of ) I’ve ever had. Despite confirming with me the day prior, reception was completely unaware of my appointment, had no record of my referral, and created a “chart” to document on a plain piece of printer paper. Waited for 30 minutes, while trying to assist the reception staff with locating the referral, which they never located. Not sure how this specialist can be accurately assessing patients without knowing their reason for referral or past medical history.
Was then asked if I’d need my eyes dilated? I was then told I’d have to wait while they asked the doctor, and then wait while the drops took effect. Wound up leaving without even being seen. No hand sanitizer in sight, and no evidence of hand washing in between appointments (not even paper towel or soap, or hand sanitizer in the patient rooms) and doctor un-masked despite provincial mandate. Avoid.

Read a lot of the reviews and clearly the issue is high maintenance patients who prob have no idea what a good doctor is. Doctors are sometimes late and yes that’s annoying but each patient has different issues and it takes time. If he spent a lot of time with you doing a thorough assessment at the cost of other peoples time, you wouldn’t be complaining. I had a severe eye issue. This doctor clearly knew what he was doing. He was able to diagnose after a thorough assessment and provide immediate treatment. He’s all business. Follow up is necessary due to the nature of how eyes may get worse very quickly. Lots of lazy patients on here writing key board warrior reviews. The most pathetic one was ‘they didn’t tell me about the eye drops’ - unreal. You’re at an EYE DOCTOR.
They don’t make doctors like they use to and this guy knows his stuff - science plus common sense.
