Dr. Cohen is an exceptional doctor. In a critically overburdened healthcare system, he is efficient and thorough. Some people appear to mistake this for "rushed". I am 100% comfortable with him as a strictly evidence based physician. If I choose to pursue alternative "medicine" (chiropracty, accupuncture, holistic treatment, etc), I am comfortable accepting that as my decision. He has a complete and thorough history of my time with him which he reviews at the start of every review. He also treats my 18 month old son. My wife and I find that he approaches our son with respect and the same thorough efficiency I receive. I have never perceived Dr. Cohen to be condescending or egotistical. He even went out of his way to help me sort out difficulties I had with an insurance company. Dr. Cohen isn't there to give you hugs. He is there to practice medicine.

I think that I could not even be in the same room and the check-up would be the same. He asks if you have any "questions" or "concerns" while his hand is on the doorknob and one foot is in the hallway. I once questioned his liberal use of steroids to treat my son's eczema and got the "I went to medical school and you didn't" lecture. Dr. Cohen may have gone to medical school, but I have spent more than 90 seconds thinking about my son's health (unlike Dr. Cohen). I don't trust his judgement -- he is rigid and not particularly up-to-date with recent research, and most importantly, could care less about his patients. Why is he in medicine?

Very rushed visit. Seems concerned with covering his 'checklist' as quickly as possible. Doesn't seem concerned with patient's overall wellness.

Cohen has been my doctor for five years and I've been present many times when he's treated other members of my family. Never a flicker of recognition or recollection from the man. It's become a running gag with my family and is excusable I suppose given a physician's workload but my most recent physical exam was the last straw. Contrary to his 15 minute time limit, I hung out (so to speak) in a hospital dressing gown for over an hour while the always rushed Dr Cohen popped in and out periodically to interview me on my medical past. Remember I've been his patient for five years, yet he had no information on file for me.The exam was disjointed, awkward and I was left with some unanswered questions so I rebooked, returned and was treated with curt condescension for asking that some of my exam results be explained again. In Cohen's office, make no mistake, he's the "doctor" and you, even when inquiring after your own ultimate good health, are misguided and wasting his valuable time.

In my opinion Dr Cohen is the perfect doctor for busy people who value their time and want professional, courteous and thorough medical care. He is upfront about his medical style (ie- 15 minute appts to stay on time, limited number of physicals/day and his emphasis on evidence based medicine). This open and honest approach allows patents to know whether they are the right fit for his style and vice versa. From my personal experience, when it comes to having a problem he the provides the very best level of care possible and whilst some may find his approach distant, those of us who want excellent care quickly and efficiently value the emphasis he puts on respecting our busy lives without comprimising our level of health care.

His time is important and so is mine, I have only had to wait once. If I have needed more time to discuss things I have booked extra. I find him thorough and once he got to know my family, he is much more personal. otherwise his bed side manor is very clinical. He has always ran tests when required and has excellent follow up. I would strongly reccomend him.

He is a very knowledgeable doctor and helpful with your questions that you ask but he does seem rushed even with the 15 min time limit he would rather be somewhere else. I will keep him as a doctor. But I dont really like the fact that he only believes in what he practices not anyother type of medicine. eg. accupuncture etc.. or that if and when you are pregnant he sends you to one of his co-doctors but retains your care once you pop. But overall he is a decent doc. one of the better ones I have been to.

Dr. Cohen always seems slightly rushed. He seems knowledgeable and is helpful but in a very curt fashion. A good doctor overall, but maybe not the best if you have a lot of question or really want your doctor to take their time.

Dr. Cohen is very punctual and allots 15 minutes for his patients (its listed on all the walls in his clinic) THis way he can stay on time and not make other patients wait (which I like). Because I know about his 15 minute policy, I come prepared with all the questions I need answers to and have never had a problem with him not being able to answer it. My whole family goes to him and would recommend him without a doubt.

Cohem rushes through his evaluations. I always feel like I'm at a fast food restaurant, or taking up his valuable time.
