My daughter had tubes put in her ears 30 years ago 3 times. She now has pressure problems and she cannot even blow up a balloon for her child. Dr Shandro said at the time she will never be able to swim because the tubes will never fall out due to the scar tissue buildup. Luckily they did fall out eventually. 0 stars for this surgeon!!! I now blame myself for using Bud Shandro but 30 years ago we did not have Rate Meds.

Dr.Bud Shandro is a butcher. I had a deviated septum so he did 2 rhinoplasty’s on me in 2014 and a tonsillectomy. It was confirmed for me this year in January by another ENT specialist who I waited 4 years to see that he ruined the inside of my nose in all aspects. I cannot breath yet again and it’s worse than before. I have now been turned down by the ENT specialist and a facial reconstructive surgeon that they are unable to correct the butchered procedure that was done by Dr.Shandro. I have now been referred to another specialist in another city hoping that he can correct or undo what was done by this butcher. I had this surgery when I was 17 years old and knew very little about the medical field I am now 26 and still suffering everyday because of him. All the disgusting ratings about him below are 100% true. I had no idea there were others like me. Luckily he’s retired now and more people don’t have to suffer.

He saved my life back in 1979 I was living in Calgary Albert at the time.. I was the youngest woman to have throat and neck cancer . If it wasnt for Dr. Shandro ..Dr K , Arthur .Jan Scott and Gillian Knowles also a huge thank you to a Droctor Eric Blom..Today I am still alive and I am 66 years old and still doing great and still working to this day..

I'm actually really disturbed to see all of these ratings from long ago. Add me to the list of people who had surgery for a deviated septum and were left worse off. I was pushed into the surgery as a child, not feeling like it was an issue. My septum basically collapsed afterwards. Another surgeon tried to fix it to no avail. 20 years later it's still causing me problems.

Its take me a very long time to be able to write this review as a result of my horrible experience after a minor procedure with a deviated septum surgery that went very wrong. I would truly caution anyone having a surgical procedure with Dr Shandro.

This procedures end result ended up in my having a complete Rhinoplasty which cost thousands of dollars by another surgeon in Edm to fix the problems associated with this surgery. It was a horrible ordeal

I just found out that this is the dr who "messed up" putting tubes in my ears and left me with *maybe* 30% hearing in my left ear when I was about a year old. Thanks to a couple of amazing doctors (Dr. Barry Kimberly and Dr. Philip Park) and 12 surgeries over 15 years I now have 70% hearing in my left ear. Words can not adequately express my sorrow for all the other people who experienced similar traumas.
