Do not expect a receptionist, the person behind the glass will not look at you, sign in shut up and sit down. When you are finally called the next person you meet will be nice. Next you go into holding, for how long ???? Next you see Dr. Shetty or Nurse Indra, very nice, all in all its an 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Now if you call the ofc. you get the recording press the number to get another recording leave your massage and maybe get a call back next day or not. Dr. Shetty may be a good Doctor, but the office procedure is a mess, starting with the first person you meet. You don't need to have your day stressed by going here. Find another Pain Mgt. Dr.

Dr. Shetty is fine and so is her Nurse practitioner. The problem is the front office. The reception is cold, if not indifferent. the staff in the back are fine, the 1 STAR does not apply to them. If you like to speak to a person when you call you are SOL. Seems if they don't feel like answering the phone any day they don't. You get switched to a machine, leave your message, you might get a call back a day later. The management of the office is pathetic.

I am grateful I was referred to Dr. Shetty for pain management. My first visit with her lasted an hour and a half (could be why her appointment schedule gets wacked) and we talked about the concerns I had after reading the postings on this site. I found her responses to be unguarded and reasonable. She was very inquisitive about how and where I experienced pain, the levels in the multiple areas and how I currently managed the symptoms. I had successful back surgery in 2016, but in the last year the pain in my lower back and hips returned, increasing as the months have passed. Over the year, I’ve gone to two other pain management doctors that just wanted to shove pills down my throat. Pain pills affect my ability to function normally, I don’t like it, it is no way to live. After examining me, Dr. Shetty ordered an MRI and x-rays to determine if there were new physical reasons for my pain. I will see her again soon; I will let you know how it goes. Whatever the outcome, I cannot thank her enough for her thorough examination and compassion.

After suffering months of excruciating pain, weeks in two hospitals, visits to neurologists and neurosurgeons and other doctors, and much medication, I was referred to Dr, Mangala Shetty, No one knew the cause of my pain. I had multiple tests taken such as X-rays, CT scans, all variety of heart tests, en endoscopy and several MRIs. Dr Shetty looked at my MRI report and said that my pain was coming from spine, Her nerve root injections solved my problem and I am extremely grateful. Thank you Dr Shetty!

I have seen Dr. Shetty for nearly a year... Every visit she asks me what's wrong with me... I have to explain I have two hip replacements one broken femur with titanium rod instead of leg bone . Every visit. Dr. Shetty recommends spine surgery..... Like it was a bunionectomy... I know I'm in pain I have to take medicine but I'm scared of spine surgery.... It's something you have to give careful consideration to... I have had more injuries from doctors then I have had cures.
No compassion.... Doctor Shetty insist I have spine surgery.... and she actually becomes irritated with me when I tell her I'm not ready for that yet.
It's only been six months that we've been talking about it and it's going to take me a little bit of time to get myself ready for another surgery.
I had three major surgeries in six months time I'm just not quite ready to go back into surgery again.
Dr. Shetty does not have compassion for anyone that is in pain...... she looks at you like you're an addict... I'm a 65 year old woman with no history of drug use... I would be so grateful to be out of pain but I have to take a medium type pain pill... gives me small relief... and I have to put up with 2 hour appointments waiting to see Dr. Shetty ,a staff that ignores you and I've even seen bugs in her office which I stepped on with my shoe and killed.

Terrible unless you are an abuser that loves to take and sell pills. No Privacy and can hear everything. Overheard someone explaining that they lost their meds for the THIRD time and what did this doctor do? Writes another script. Horrible bedside manner and I have video of her being nasty to my wife. worst doctor ever.

I have been a patient for many years. I could not be in better hands. I appreciate the time she gives to my care. I don't feel like I'm on an assembly line. She is very knowledgeable in her field. The wait times could improve but, you get just as much equal time as anyone else! I would rather wait, then feel "rushed". Every time I see her she not only remembers me, but remembers my condition, which means a lot. Highly recommend!! Wallace,D.

I have never had an appointment that lasted less than 2hours. The longest was 2 hours and 35 minutes. It is ridiculous. She also acts as if my pain is not real, and shrugs off everytime I ask for a referral to another neurologist to ACTUALLY do surgery on my bone spurs so I am NOT on pain meds for the rest of my life! You NEVER get a live person when you call for a question or refills, which even if you follow instructions tend to be screwed up 30% of the time.
