I have been very happy with Dr Ibsen in the past. However, I just phoned the Whitby Clinic intending to book an appointment with my doctor ... Dr. Ibsen. The Whitby Clinic phone directory did not give an option for Ibsen (strange). I chose a different doctors name (at the same clinic) and once connected, I asked why no phone option for Ibsen. The answer ... "that's because he retired". Wow, what a great way to find out I no longer have a family doctor. Now what ????

I've been a patient of Dr.Ibsen since 1989. Eight years ago I from Whitby to Hamilton for personal reasons, but continued to drive the 280 km round trip to see him. I know of no better doctor practising anywhere. He also happens to be a great human being.

He has been our family doctor for 23 years. Just an amazing doctor and person. Unlike many doctors he actually cares and is willing to take the time to deal with your concerns.

My family has been fortunate to have Dr. Ibsen as our family doctor since out children were little. In fact, we learned after we started to see Dr. Ibsen in Whitby that he helped deliver out daughter in Lindsay when he was an intern. He takes the time to explain and to explain options, prevention, and the best treatment. You can't beat his sense of humour. He is professional, caring, efficient and valuable to any family. We are sad to see Michelle leave the practice. back to Minden to care for her parents. She was awesome all around as well.

I have been seeing Dr Ibsen for 25+ years and count myself lucky to be a patient of his. He is understanding, professional, knowledgeable and has been fantastic with both of my daughters keeping them at ease with his humour and kindness! In a time when doctors are in demand, and genuinely good doctors are a nearly impossible to find, Dr Ibsen is to be appreciated for all he does.
